"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine, in fact! I've got my smokes, my orders, and now I've got you. Lucky thing I stumbled upon you, eh?" Sadia threw her head back and laughed. It was a good-natured laugh despite her insane personality. Stuffing her hands deeper into her pockets, watching the lazy smoke float up in curls from her cigarette, she turned to look at Sabina with curiously green eyes. "Do you think I mean to harm you, girl?" The look that Sadia gave Sabina then was much like an incredulous one, but she seemed on the verge of... laughter.

Then the verge disappeared. Sadia laughed heartily then. There was no possible way that she could be sincere about anything. "I would not hurt you! Gods, girl! What's your name anyway? Tell me your story. And why are you looking for my family? Well, I suppose that is part of your story, innit. Heh! I get ahead of m'self sometimes it seems. Anyway. Go on. Tell me!" Sadia had done a lot of the talking and none of the listening. In fact, what questions Sabina had for her were carelessly skipped over. The woman meant no harm, of course. She was just following orders to bring Sabina back to the Villa. No one ever said anything about listening to her talk.

Turning around once more, she walked forward and onward to the Villa, glancing over her shoulder occasionally to look and see if Sabina was, in fact, following. At least she didn't have to force the girl along. That would be hell on my back. Tch. I'd've just left her were that the case. If Sabina decided to talk, Sadia would listen as best she could between smoking and watching where she stepped.

"I don't mean to interrupt you, if'n you were going to say anything... but it would be great if you'd giddy up and come walk beside me. Turnin' my neck around to look at you is straining and I'd rather just view you outta the corner of my eye. If it's all the same to you and all. You don't gotta. But it would be nice." Being nice wasn't so hard, Sadia was finding. Sometimes being herself landed her in troublesome situations. Good thing the girl was steady enough to be able to put up with all of her antics, she reckoned. Otherwise she'd probably be running the girl down getting cursed by Kisa.

Speaking of Kisa, the half fey had neglected to tell Sabina about who was floating in front of her face... Ahhh. All in good time.

While Kisa left them to go about contacting the girl his father seemed so in need to meet, he just smoked his cigarette and fell into the roll of fighting away the silence. Basic chit chat about this and that, memories about when he was a boy as well as events that took place when he wasn't living under Morlis' roof. It was always that way. No matter how long he'd been away from home his father and he always fell back into place the moment they were again in eachother's company, like no time had passed between them. So there they sat, just talking and laughing occasionally until Morlis stood to look within the bowl. Such magic was known to him at only the most basic level, so rather than look into the water and see only what the magic allowed him to see, he decided to wait; wait until he could meet the "mystery woman" face to face.

He could tell his little "house cat" was nervous about performing, but he had no question that she would exceed expectation; and there was no surprise when he saw that he was right. He smiled to her, leaning in and kissing the corner of her mouth as his arms wrapped around her shoulders and pulled her close. It was at that affectionate moment that an unmistakable voice came from below--Nimue. A cavalier smirk came over him as he looked to Morlis;

"Yeah, you go first. That way if she starts throwing things she'll only hit you and give us a chance to run back upstairs."

Morlis' hauled his demonic ass out of the room without a word, and Antonio went to his closet to throw on a dark brown T-shirt with the words -Klaatu Barata Nikto- on the front of it. After that he just slipped on his house shoes (which were more like leather moccasins than shoes) and head out into the hallway, Kisa at his side. With Nimue there he thought it best not to have his hand on her daughters ass or anything, but he'd be damned if he wasn't touching her in -some- way, Nimue's daughter or not she was 'his' now. Trying to understand it would be impossible unless you were an incubus, so he trusted Kisa's mother would understand that.

They came down the stairs and he could already see his father, walking backward and trying to talk while Nimue just kept marching on forward. It was one of the funniest things he'd ever seen. His father, the ultimate in seduction and understanding of women, being pushed back by a sure footed fairy, stumbling on his words and trying his best to bring Nimue up to speed. Antonio though, he just looked to Nimue and raised his hand to wave at her as Kisa and he reached the bottom of the stairs.

"You know, this isn't the island. You don't have to shout over an entire piece of land--we're all in the area. You're going to make people think the house is being raided or something."

Kisa was with him and she had pretty much circled around so that she was half at his side, half hiding behind his shoulder. She was a little more "rigid" than he was used to, and he could tell she was trying to remain stoic and respectful in the presence of her mother. Well now that just wouldn't do. So, he waited, biding his time in silence until they were standing just off to Morlis' side with Nimue a few feet away from them. Just as Kisa went to speak, he spoke first;

"Hey hun, it's been a while. I just want to say, whatever you did while carrying this girl was a great idea. Without her clothes on it's just--wow. But anyway, how're you? How's everything on the island?"

His eyes turned toward Kisa and with her wide eyes and gaping mouth, he couldn't help laughing a little before becoming totally straight faced;

"...What?"

The moment Antonio took her into his arms and kissed the corner of her mouth her anxiety melted away and for a moment she indulged herself in the feel of his arms around her, a contented purr finding its way to her lips in spite of the serious nature of the situation. And then came that voice. It was a voice she would know anywhere and under any circumstances and instantly she stiffened in Antonio’s embrace. Offering Morlis a small smile as he left the room, pleased that he would do as Antonio suggested and take the initial brunt of the angry fae downstairs and once Antonio was ready she exited the room at his side, uncharacteristically silent as they descended the stairwell.

It wasn’t that she didn’t love her mother, she did, very much, but she knew her mother wasn’t exactly what anyone would call ~stable~ and this situation would no doubt exacerbate her already temperamental nature. Not to mention the fact that she had ignored her mother’s summons for weeks now, even going so far as to allow Antonio to magically blast the messenger sprites from her chambers. Ignoring the Lady of the Lake was not something most priestesses of Avalon did and no doubt her mother would eventually have a few choice words for her on the matter. That was fine. The feline had a few choice words for her as well; it just wasn’t time to have that talk yet.

They were nearly to the bottom of the stairs when the feline’s attention seemed to perk up, her mannerisms giving one the impression of a cat whose ears had just come alert at the sound of an unusual noise. She could hear the rustling of movement above them and knew that the others of the house had been alerted to the drama unfolding down below. They would soon have an audience if the sounds from above were any indication. Sighing she followed Antonio down the last few steps until they stood within the foyer watching Nimue back the high and mighty Morlis into a corner with her demands until he eventually drew her into her arms to comfort her, though she strongly suspected it was more to shut her up then anything else.

Antonio’s greeting for her mother had a small smirk pursing her lips. In spite of her mother’s diminutive size she could be quite the shrew and luckily for her it was mostly directed at Morlis, for the moment. She wanted to keep it that way and subconsciously she hung back slightly, allowing her body to be partially hidden by Antonio’s shoulder. She very well could have made it out of the situation unscathed if not for the actions of the man she was using as a human shield. When his voice again rang out through the foyer announcing that she was stunning without her clothes on she stepped to the side a bit so that she could more easily see his profile, cats green eyes widening in mingled surprise, horror, and shocked amusement, you know the kind, the expression that clearly says “I can’t believe you just said that” while at the same time finding it funny as hell. Well, that’s where she was at right then and when he turned his innocent face her way and in a dead pan voice asked “What?” she nearly lost it.

Turning to face her mother she offered the other fae a weak smile and raising her right hand she waved slightly.

”Hi Mom.”

On some level she was aware that she was being too loud, that she might rouse the house, Morlis’ other women included. Under normal circumstances she would have done her best to avoid any contact what so ever with Morlis’ other women but in this instance she did not care who heard her. In fact, if she was possessed of the talents held by her niece Syeira she would gladly shriek the building down to rubble if that was what it took to find out who the girl who made her heart ache was. Hearing a noise behind her she turned to find Morlis descending the stairs. As always her heart lurched at the sight of him and instantly she was upon him demanding to know what was going on.

Eventually he managed to calm her by pulling her into his arms though she strongly suspected he simply wished the means to easily restrain her should the situation warrant it. It was Antonio’s voice that eventually drew her fire from Morlis and gazing at her step son she couldn’t help stare at the sight of him standing there with Kisa, the retort she was already forming dying on her lips. She knew Kisa was with Antonio, had known the girl would be drawn to him the moment she saw him just as she had been drawn to his father, but seeing it somehow made it more real…and more frightening. Would her daughter suffer the same fate she did? To forever love a man who could not put her above all others? Pressing her left hand to her lips a moment as though trying to stifle the emotion she turned her faintly glowing green eyes back to Morlis.

”History repeats itself, aye?”

Her voice the barest of whispers as her head fell forward to rest on Morlis’ shoulder. The emotional turmoil was beginning to take its toll on the unstable fae and it was obvious in the way her emotions ricocheted from one extreme to another. She might have stayed in that position a good long while if not for Antonio’s next comment, the words that left his mouth causing her head to snap up and her eyes to swiftly return to him. Kisa’s chagrin was obvious, but so was her humor and staring at the two she found herself flummoxed.

”As much as I love you my sweet ‘Tonio, I’d rather not think about you in bed with my daughter.”

She couldn’t be angry with him, she could never be angry with Antonio. He had but to offer his cavalier smile and she was lost. So many times she had bemoaned the fact that he and Madalina were not hers, that she had not been the one to give Morlis his son, but in the end it was for the best. She had been given the privilege of training him in magic from a young age and a part of her would always see him as her own because of that bond.

Turning her gaze from Antonio to Kisa when she heard her daughters greeting she narrowed her eyes slightly. She could see the apprehension on Kisa’s face and knew the reason for it. ”You and I will have to have a nice long talk very soon, my girl.”

Ignoring her summons was a serious act indeed and she would know the reason for it, but for now the cat was off the hook. For now she needed to know who this girl was and what she meant to her. Pushing back from Morlis she fixed him with a firm gaze.

”You said Kisa summoned Sadia? Told her to bring this girl? Is she coming? What is taking her so long? If she does not appear in the next five minutes I am going to Italy after them!”

And not a single person in the room would have dared to disagree after seeing the look on her face.

Not a single person would have dared to disagree, except one. After moving into the parlor where the roaring fire had warmed the chill night air Nimue had continued to pace erratically, constantly casting her gaze towards the windows that opened into the back gardens where the portal was, searching for any sign that Sadia and the mystery girl had arrived. The constant pacing combined with the periodic looks of reproach her mother kept sending her was beginning to wear on the felines last damn nerve, her mothers earlier comment about history repeating itself not helping her mood any either. That was an argument for another day though, now was not the time, but they were words that had struck a despondent note within the tempestuous fey and would need to be addressed some day.

Finally the tension in the room became too much, she knew any second her mother was going to explode and demand to go to the Villa in Italy herself, and pushing from her chair with a sudden jolt she began stalking towards the closet in the foyer.
”Tink’s titties, I’ll go get them!”

From the closet she withdrew a heavy velvet half cape that would drape to her hips and keep her warm against the night chill that permeated both Aleris and Earth. She had no doubt they would try to stop her though whether the protests would come from her mother or Antonio she didn’t know. Ultimately she didn’t care. This was going to tear them all apart if this girl didn’t get her ass here toot sweet and she knew Sadia had no doubt become distracted by something shiny so there was no telling when she would manage to escort Sabina to the portal.

Her gaze fixed on her mother as though expecting some sort of attempt to keep her there she paused next to Antonio where he sat on the small love seat where she had sat next to him until only a few minutes ago. Her palm found his cheek unerringly before her gaze flicked from her mother’s tormented countenance to his own beloved features. The simple touch and meeting of their eyes was all it took to calm her and giving him a moment to offer his own words she finally turned and resolutely headed for the door that would lead her to the back gardens.

”I’ll be back with them both in tow soon, I promise.”

With a final glance behind her she offered them all a confident smile. If she had her way she would have them both back here in less then half an hour and she would be damned if she didn’t get her way in this. Turning to leave before anyone could change their mind and try to convince her to wait she slipped silently through the garden to the heavy leafed bower in the back that acted as the sentinel to the identical portal in the gardens at the Villa on Earth. So Morlis wasn’t the most original chap in the world, he had other redeeming qualities.

The feeling of her stomach dropping to her toes accompanied her entry into the portal and after a moment of disorientation she emerged at the Villa in Italy. The bower was nearly identical; a subtle way of announcing the presence of a portal to those in the family, but the garden layout was drastically different. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath to orient herself to her new surroundings and using the landmarks she saw in the scrying bowl she began to walk through the gardens and round the side of the villa to the road that led to it, hoping they were still on this path and she wouldn’t have to search through all and sundry to find them.

She had traveled only a few feet down the tree lined road before she heard voices. Recognizing Sadia’s voice she gained speed and in moments was rounding a corner to see the two women speaking and instantly her eyes went to Sabina, curiosity gleaming in her cat green eyes. Once the two women realized she was there she fixed her gaze on Sadia until the demonic fey met her gaze.

”Get the lead out, Dia. You know who is having a melt down.”

Glancing to Sabina she offered her a small smile she hoped was reassuring. The girl was about to walk into bedlam and had no idea.

”I am Kisa Le Fey. I am Sadia’s sister.”Hopefully Sadia had introduced herself by this point but knowing her sister she wouldn’t be surprised if it had slipped her mind. Naturally she had no room to talk but try telling any feline fey they are imperfect and see how far you get. ”I’m here to escort you both to Aleris.”

With another smile and a ~look~ at Sadia she turned and led the two women back towards the Villa. Without even bothering to enter the Villa she led them to the portal. A sense of urgency seemed to grip her as she ushered the now silent pair into the portal, the same sinking feeling entering her as she followed behind them. Once back in the garden at Aleris she spared them one more glance before marching boldly towards the door leading to the back parlor where she had left them gathered. Knowing that time moved differently in Aleris then in Earth she was unsure how much time had passed for them. Only twenty minutes or so had passed for her, but in Aleris it might have been an hour or two.

Hesitating only slightly as her hand came to rest on the handle of the Venetian doors she finally pushed her way through, all eyes turning towards her the moment she entered, their gazes expectant. Feeling Sadia and Sabina enter the room behind her she took a deep breath and stepped to the side.

”I found them.”

"So what about music, Sabby? I'm pretty fond of bands like Killswitch Engage, but I have to admit.. I totally love the Cranberries." Sadia grinned, spinning in a little circle, humming the tune to Electric Blue Eyes. However, before Sabina even had a chance to answer, there was Kisa. It took a minute for Sadia to see pesky kitten because she was so absorbed with herself. When she did see Kisa, though, she studied her for a moment as if making sure she was actually there. And then she was being demanding?

"Hold it, Kitty. We were havin' a conversation here. Ma can wait. I mean, you see how well we were comin' along! We were -bonding-, Kisa. I don't understand what the big deal is. It's not like I was going to STEAL her or something. Jeeze. Hold your my little pony and cut your hair or something." Sadia crossed her arms over her chest and began sulking. The entire way back to the Villa, she said nothing and just pouted. All of her plans had been ruined! She was going to be the one that Sabina liked best, so she was! But Kisa ruined that fun for her.

Once they were through the portal, Sadia looked up ahead of her to see Kisa walking next to Sabina, not even talking to her! Huh! What a way to welcome her into the family; the silent treatment worked every time! Then again, terrorizing the poor girl probably wasn't the best idea either. But that was Sadia's way of being friendly! People just had to work their lives around her, and everything would be fine.

Sadia was less than thrilled to see everyone sitting around on their asses like one big happy family, especially Nimue. That woman was insane. So, without being first screamed at, she stepped in front of Sabina and Kisa and offered her sincerest apologies:

"I don't think you realize just how terribly impatient you lot are! We were on our way! Less then twenty minutes from the portal and then you send Kisa after us. I wonder if you all trust me sometimes! I mean, I wasn't going to EAT her! Hold her up and maybe scare her a little, yeah, but that isn't intentional! It's just me, you ken?" 'You ken' in Sadiaspeech would literally mean 'You get it?' Ah yes. Sincerest apologies indeed. After having her say and not wanting to be yelled at, Sadia turned around a skulked toward her room. The things in there would like her company, she bet.

The entire way back to the portal Kisa preceded Sadia, the demonic fae’s incessant bitching echoing behind her. Her eyes rolled, her mouth curling up in a mocking imitation of Sadia’s complaining as her right hand rose to form a fake mouth which she opened and closed in a parody of Sadia’s yapping. Knowing it would only delay them further, however, should Sadia see what she was about she kept her rude gestures to herself for now, later though would be another story. It wasn’t until Sadia commented that Nimue could wait that she finally spoke up but she never changed stride or stopped moving.

”Ma can wait she says, you’re too impatient she says. Hah! That’s easy for you to say little Miss Avoid Any Contact With Crazy Mother While I Travel Around The Universe. If you were around more you’d see that she has gotten worse…something’s been eating at her lately and she’s about to lose it for good.”

With a significant look at Sabina she hoped Sadia would get the gist that it had something to do with the girl they were now escorting through the portal and into the gardens behind the large Villa in Aleris. Offering what she hoped was a comforting smile towards Sabaina she gestured towards the immense manor.

”We’re in Aleris now, another world entirely. This is the Alerian Desiderio Villa.”

It sucked being the middle child sometimes but she did make the effort to calm Sabina who was beginning to sound a little panicked by the change in location and the looming villa. That was all forgotten though when they entered the parlor where she had left Nimue, Morlis, and Antonio. Unsure if any of the others had joined them she didn’t really get the chance to check before Sadia was bursting into the room and announcing just how impatient everyone was. Worse then that, once her temper tantrum was done she tried to escape!

Fixing her cat green eyes on Sadia the pupils shifted from the human circle to the vertical slant of the feline and her eyes narrowed as though stalking prey. Forgetting her usual composure, hahaha, she began shifting towards where Sadia was headed and pausing a few feet away she seemed to gather herself, her torso hunching over as her legs bent in a crouch and in a move that could only be called cat like she quite literally launched herself at Sadia, pouncing the girl to the ground where they tumbled to the floor, Kisa half on top of her, before she could make her escape.

”Not on your life, sister.”

"Hurry back, kitten. Don't leave me here alone too long--I'll drown in the drama."

Those were his last words to Kisa before she headed from the Villa and went to intercept Sabina and Sadia. That left just himself, his father, and Nimue. Fantastic. It was quiet where they were for a long time. A finger tapping here, a tongue clicking off the roof of a mouth there, Nimue muttering to herself as if she were having an argument with a voice only she could hear. As for his father, Morlis, just because he knew how to slip into a few beds didn't mean he could charm his ass out of any situation. Was it wrong of him to think that was funny? To look over toward his father and just see that 'God, help me' look on his face..he had to smirk. After a while though he felt like something had to be done to cut the tension, and that's when the idea came to him. The one timeless way to relax a tense situation...alcohol!

"Ok..I don't know about the two of you but I could use a drink. Do either of you want anything?"

Cut to a half hour or so later, Kisa was just now returning with the two girls in her company. By now he'd had a drink or two...his father had worked through most of his own bottle, and Nimue despite her size seemed to be holding her alcohol really well. He'd poured her 3 shots that she'd drank down while pacing before she even seemed aware she was holding the glass. When the 3 girls arrived he was still sitting in the love seat, legs crossed and resting across the cushions while Morlis nursed his glass by the fireplace. Nimue somehow hadn't managed to wear a hole through the floor yet, but she was still trying her best, pacing back and forth. Maybe not the most warm of welcomes to come to but there it was.

He was the first to see them, but before he could say anything they were already talking..and Kisa was tackling one of them. So...he watched, still not saying anything, just sipping down his brandy. With a raise of the glass toward them he called out from the seat.

"Welcome to the party! There won't be any eating of anyone until later on, we already set up the ritualistic sacrifice and buffet so don't ruin your appetite. There's plenty of alcohol around so there's still a lot of time to make an ass out of yourself and punch a relative..for now, let's put on our happy faces."

Glancing to Morlis, then Nimue, his free hand lifted to his face and he used his thumb and index finger to push up the corners of his mouth.

"..Happy faces. Big smile."

After that he swung his legs off the seat and stood back up, taking a drink of brandy before setting the glass down on the table. Come hell or high water everyone was going to get through this, or at least drink until it wasn't as big a deal..whatever happened first.

"I'm Antonio, we're all family, and we've already had all the door and windows locked...so, welcome to the villa."

Kisa departed before a word could be said to stop her and honestly she would not have bothered. The only reason she might stop Kisa was if she wanted to go herself. That would only cause more problems, however, as she knew Morlis would try to stop her. Not to mention she did not wish to frighten the girl and in the state she was in she would no doubt do exactly that. While they waited a glass of liquor magically appeared in her hand and without hesitation or thought she drank every drop in it only to find it replaced with another. How many she drank she didn’t know and didn’t care, her attention was fixed firmly upon the large faceted windows that faced the backyard of the villa and the portal hidden in the bower, her eyes searching for any sign of her daughters…all of them.

Just as Antonio’s first instinct was to assume this girl was her child she too had her suspicions. How though…how could she have a daughter she had no knowledge of? That was what haunted her. Ate at her. Made her ready to level the entire building if this didn’t get resolved soon. The thought had no sooner entered her thoughts then the patio doors opened to admit the quarrelling sisters, Sabina close behind them. Though Sadia and Kisa claimed center stage with their bickering and Sadia’s complaints that they were all too impatient her green eyes strayed passed the two fair haired sisters to the dark haired girl who was staring at her with her own eyes. Sadia tried to escape and Kisa promptly tackled her to the ground. Antonio stepped forward to welcome the girl. None of it was seen or heard by the sidhe.

The moment her eyes met Sabina they widened almost painfully, a wash of grief and horror reflected in their luminescent depths. It was as though seeing the girl freed her from whatever spell had held her in its grip only now she was trapped in the memories that had been stolen from her, suffering the trauma of them as they flooded her mind after having been imprisoned for so long. In her minds eye she saw the months spent at the Italian Villa while she carried Sabina. She saw herself embroidering the moss green swaddling blanket with golden thread, her name as well as the crests of her two lineages. She remembered the birthing; saw Morlis leaning over her as she labored to bring their child into the world.

Someone was screaming. She could hear them. Shrill tortured screams reverberating throughout the room. Focusing on the sound she slowly came back to herself, awareness of where she was and what she was doing replacing the memories that had flooded her mind, chasing away the mists that had kept them hidden for so very long. The screaming stopped abruptly and she realized that it had been her, screaming her horror at the memories that had shaped the reality she now found herself in.

Staring at the girl her hands slowly raised, reaching for her, beckoning for the girl to come to her, not caring that they had been apart until now. She had been so very wanted by them both, the one child they would be able to raise together, to be the parents they always should have been to the others in their brood, only to have that dream stolen from her. By whom she did not know but when she found out she would end them, no matter what it took.

”Sabina…? My dear child…you are mine…”

Her voice broke with unshed tears, her hands lowering again to her side. The reality of the situation was making itself known to her and she had to accept the fact that this girl may wish nothing to do with her. She knew nothing of how she was raised or what she had been told and she may not believe a thing Nimue had to tell her, but that didn’t stop her. She had to try, had to make her know she had been wanted, that she had parents who had loved her even while in the womb and siblings who would have defended and protected her against any who would do her harm.

”I do not know what happened…or why…but I promise we will find out and whoever took you from me will suffer greatly for it. You have my word.”

She would not force her affections on the girl but the raw pain and desire to clasp Sabina to her were evident in her eyes, in her face, in the way her body swayed towards where Sabina stood as though fighting off the urge to rush to the girl. That wasn’t all though, any who looked deeply into the Fae’s eyes would see the desire for vengeance there and though she was diminutive in stature and looked as though she would not pose much of a threat, no one would doubt that the object of her fury was going to suffer greatly.

Sabina was on sensory overload. She saw the man and the woman in front of her, and the two girls rolling across the floor in a bickering fit, and there was a younger man. Who were these people? She was very confused and with Antonio speaking, her cat-like eyes turned to him first and she blinked. Wary was a good word for what she was feeling. Scared came in a close second. Where had the crazy one taken her? Was this really her family? So many questions crossed her mind that she visably shook her head to try and get them out.

"Well I would hope there would be no eating of anyone anyway.. I'm afraid I don't eat people." She said softly, almost in jest. It was because she was nervous that she was making comments like that. "It's a pleasure, Antonio.. I think." She was still very unsure of everyone around her. She'd never seen any of them. Except the two that her absinthe gaze turned to. She had seen them in her dreams before, before she was so rudely woken every time.

When the woman screamed, Sabina jumped and nearly landed back on her rear. Fright filled her eyes as she watched her. What was going on? Her first instinct was to run. Surely this was one big joke played on her by Desiree. This wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility when it came to that horrid woman. "No." She said as her head shook. "This is a cruel joke!" Tears welled in her eyes as she backed herself toward the door and the blanket was clutched to her chest. When Nimue beckoned her, she stayed firmly in place, mostly out of fear.

"If you two cared for me so much, then why did you leave me with that.. that...devil woman!? if I was loved and cared about than why was I left there to rot?" Desiree was cruel to her, treated her like a slave -- worse. Telling her she was never wanted. The lies and bitter words that were fed to her for as long as she could remember. "Day after day I prayed that someone would show up and take me from her. To save me from that life. Every time I tried to run she found me and made my life an even bigger hell than before. If you loved me the way you say you do.. Why didn't you come? Surely if you were my mother, you would have known I was alive." Sabina didn't understand nor did she know that there had been spell put on them. But these were logical feelings, and Sabina was very much confused by them. She was angry and hurt and she felt as if her head was going to explode. Not knowing how to take the words uttered by Nimue, she didn't say anything at all. But that pang in her heart could be seen written on her face.

Part of her was telling her to run to this woman. Something felt right. But the other part of her mind was telling her to run away. That it couldn't possibly be this easy. Looking between Nimue and Morlis, the tears finally broke free and slid down her cheeks. "For seventeen years I've been fed lie after lie, and suddenly now I have parents? I have family? If this is a joke, or a trap... Please spare me the heartbreak and just take me back to hell. I won't try and run away again." It was only natural that she was skeptical about this. The fidgeting in her steps alluded to her dillemma in how she was supposed to behave. It would be stupid of her to just believe them on prinicple. She had been lied to so much that even the truth was distorted. Reaching up, she wiped at her face with her hands. "I don't understand. Who did I anger to get this kind of punishment?" She had been nothing but compliant with Desiree's wishes. She did what she was told to do until late. The words were spoken to herself more than anyone else. To her, this was far too good to be true. But, was even her mind capable of this kind of illusion? Her back pressed against the door that she had come into. "I just want someone to tell me the truth. For once in my life, I want the truth." Sabina couldn't wrap the thought that this was the truth around her head. "Please."

"She sent you. Sent you all. She had to have..She knew what I was doing, I didn't hide myself well enough." Ramblink off, she pressed herself more against the door and attempted to work the doorknob but her hands were trembling so badly she couldn't do much of anything. Finally flinging open the door, she threw herself outside and took a deep breath of fresh air and she fell into a fit of sobs. Why did she believe the one who found her? She should have listened to her instinct and high tailed it out of there. She buried her face in her hands as she crumpled onto the ground, her body shook with the force of the tears. What had she done? Why was fate being so cruel to her? Sabina just didn't understand.
