(Chat logs from 05.01.13)Valorius MalkuAll Right, So Far So Good. As He Took A Sip From His Glass He Looked Over Towards Sharay, His Eyes Lingering A Second Before Passing Back To Amunette.
"No, it's not a joke. She asked to come here to meet you. I decided that it made sense after all, she did help with taking out Gethe and the rest of his soldiers..so the least I could do was show her around, and let her know who you are. I mean, beyond you screaming and blade-raping people." He Shrugged His Right Shoulder Before Taking Another Sip From His Glass. Passing Another Glance Between The 2 Women He Sighed Softly And Eased From The Bar With A Push Of His Elbow Against The Edge.
"Oh fine. Amunette, Sharay. Sharay, Amunette. I'm sure you'll both get along great.." His Eyes Widened For A Second In Mock Exaggeration As He Tucked His Free Hand In The Pocket Of His Jacket. What More Could He Really Say? He Was Basically Tossing 2 Cats In A Bag And Then Tying It Shut, But Damned If It Wouldn't Be Interesting. Walking From The Bar To An Empty Chair To Drop Into, He Fell Back With A Thump Before Leaning His Head Back Against The Soft Velvet. At That Moment He Was Feeling Just A Bit Apprehensive, And With Good Reason. Neither Of Them Was Known For Tact, Or Civility, And Over The Last Few Months He Wasn't Exactly The Poster Child For Calm Living Himself, So It Was Situation That Had All The Right Ingredients To Become Especially Volatile. He'd Kept His Word Though, He Brought Her Here And Introduced Her To The Padishah, Everything Else Was Just Going To Have To Be Played By Ear.
Ameerah AmunetteAmeerah Amunette held her silence as Sharay began laughing at her reaction to seeing the other woman there. Still she said nothing as Sharay rose and moved to Valorius, stating they were having fun, though her eyes did narrow a fraction as Sharay tugged the hat down over Valorius' eyes, the gesture being awfully...familiar. It was Valorius that broke the silence following Sharay's laughter, informing her that Sharay had wanted to meet her. It wasn't difficult to detect his apprehension. Even if she couldn't sense what went on inside of him it would only stand to reason he would be apprehensive. Ameerah had wanted to kill Sharay over the whole living inside Valorius thing, or was it that she had been the one to help Valorius unlock what was buried within him? Didn't know, didn't care, Ameerah was a half-a tard on her best day, as far as she was concerned. Always ready to jump the gun and just start murdering people. Ameerah simply did not possess the level head she did and a slight glare was sent Valorius way as that thought floated through her mind on the off chance he picked it up and might have some idea about disagreeing with her, or laughing, whichever. Both Valorius and Sharay had obtained drinks and, once Valorius had dropped into the chair, she pushed off the wall and made her barefooted way towards the side bar that Sharay still stood near. Passing in front of Valorius she cast a sideways glance his way, as if to question his sanity or perhaps just in wonderment that he had such a masochistic streak. Fucking de Sades, they were all fucked up. Looking back to Sharay a slight smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. Pausing at the bar she reached unerringly for the bottle of green liquid she preferred, another side glance given though this time towards Sharay.
"So..vacation for the denizens of chaos. And you came...here?" Her tone sounded incredulous but hey, look, see! She was being nice....ish.
SharayShe held her tongue for as long as possible while introductions were made, having refilled her drink in the meantime. This time though, she sipped, slowly and thoughtfully as she regarded Amunette with blatant curiosity. A half-smile formed on her lips as she pushed from the bar to retake her previous seat, dropping lazily onto the velvety plush chair with the ease of a cat. Sipping at her drink, which she considered rather enjoyable to her standards, Sharay would let her gaze travel from Valorius to Amunette. She caught the look given to him and resisted the urge to laugh again, knowing this time it would indeed insult her hostess. Silence endured for the longest of ages as it would seem that each one was carefully gauging the other's reactions. Sharay's attention was drawn to Amunette, to fully regard her and the slightly sarcastic comment made. The Goddess took her time sipping her drink again, eying the red-haired woman over the rim of her glass for a moment before choosing to respond.
"Of course," she lowered her glass to cup in her hand as it set upon her lap.
"Valorius is here. I wished to see him." The elusive smile was firmly in place as she replied rather matter-of-factly.
"And if I am to be quite honest, I was curious about you as well, so I saw little harm in paying a visit to your... delightful... continent." She settled comfortably in the chair, drawing her legs up to tuck under her body.
"Assuming that I am welcome here." Her head turned so that she could face Valorius head on, her smile widening ever so slightly.
"Do let me know when my time in your lovely home has expired, dear, and I will be more than happy to finish my drink and leave." But even as she posed the question to Valorius, Sharay's gaze returned once more to Amunette, her brow lofting as she watched the other woman with interest. Women...such unpredictable creatures that rarely dealt with logic or reasoning, preferring emotion over rationale. Somehow though, Sharay felt that Amunette was different and would wait patiently to judge her before confirming what she believed to be truth already.
Valorius MalkuOk, Things Were Civil, That Was Good. No Blood, No Screaming, No Holes In Anything That He Would Have To Patch Up Later. All In All, It Was Turning Out Better Than He Anticipated. The Question Amunette Asked Was The Same One He Had Posed To Sharay When She Arrived. Heruin Was Hardly A Vacation Get Away. But, It Did Have Its Appeal As She Had Seen When Appearing At The Oasis. When She Sat In The Chair And Looked At Him, Stating That He Could Tell Her To Leave When Her Time Expired, He Couldn't Help But Smirk.
"Time doesn't expire, it's always current. I told you I'd bring you here and I did. I told you I'd introduce the two of you, and I did. There's no point in me doing that if I was just going to throw you the fuck out once all those things were done..." He Turned His Eyes From Sharay To Amunette, And Continued.
"She can hold a grudge...it's the gypsy in her. She's been busting her ass trying to find information about our family history and here it is, staring her in the face. She's angry because of all that..trying to take over Aleris, ending up part of me business. But, if that hadn't have happened..I wouldn't be where I am now. I'd still be walking around in a long coat, taking people out whether or I wanted to or not, telling myself it was all to keep things in order. Because, you know, murdering people is always the best way to balance things out." He Scoffed And Finished His Glass Before Setting It On The Small Side Table Near His Chair.
"The truth is..I like myself better this way. I feel..right. You like me better this way because now I understand -you- better.." That Part Was Spoken To Amunette. And Then Once More He Looked Towards Sharay;
"And you and I are actually friends when that's the last thing that anyone would've expected. So..from turbulant beginnings we find a peaceful end. Nobody had to die, the world didn't have to be destroyed, AND I got a fucking hat." His Right Index Finger Pointed To His Hat As He Glanced The 2 Women.
"The hat makes it all worth it."Ameerah AmunetteAmeerah's lip visibly curled when he stated the fact she held a grudge was because of her gypsy ancestry and she glared at Valorius from where she still leaned back against the side bar. Sharay had stated they could tell her to leave at any time and poof, she'd be gone. Her eyes were on Valorius but the Padishah knew the words were intended for her and when Sharay looked her way her suspicions were confirmed. Valorius was quick to jump in, stating that would make little sense and a single brow rose at the way he was so quick to justify it all, including Sharay having inhabited him for a short time. No, she didn't especially enjoy that aspect, nor the fact that the two of them had been locked in the Nexus Chamber, alone, where she couldn't see anything that went on. But...it was done. Valorius hadn't done anything he would regret so she didn't have the urge to destroy Sharay that Ameerah had possessed. Tapping a fingernail against the side of the glass she pushed off the side bar and made her way to the plush white chair seated closest to Valorius and sank languidly into it, her left leg curling beneath her as she did.
"First off, Valor, you can suck it. I'm not holding a grudge. You want grudge holding, speak with the mongrel. Oh wait, you can't." Her words ended on a satisfied smirk that she had been successful in stifling Ameerah completely for the time being. The walls of their home had been covered in the same intricate blood pattern as her chateau in Arthuran which would effectively keep Ameerah at bay no matter how unfocused Amunette became.
"And yes, we know, you're whole now and you and Sharay here are besties, let's all sing a rousing chorus of kumbayfuckingyah." She was cranky. But not at Valorius or even Sharay and her inner stress would be evident in the way she proceeded to roll her head, her neck cracking in various locations. Glancing to Sharay she paused a moment but eventually let her posture relax slightly.
"Welcome to Absolom Isle, Sharay. Any friend of Valorius' is welcome here as long as they like so long as it's not Discord." Raising the glass she held she toasted Sharay as an end to her welcoming statement before tossing the entirely of the green liquid back in a single gulp.
"I'm gonna need something stronger than this, I can sense it," she muttered.
SharayThis time Sharay did laugh as what she deemed a tense situation began to fade. She held up her own glass to Amunette, not entirely sure of the conversaton the two were having with her present. Some private issues they were working out, pehraps? In any case, Sharay sipped her drink then and nodded once to Amunette.
"I assure you I am not this...Discord." Her eyes shifted from one to the other, a slight smile hidden once more behind her glass as she drank. Amunette's reaction to Valorius was nothing short of amusement for her.
"Besties?" She murmured quietly, puzzled by the usage of the word, but then she shrugged, reminding herself to inquire about that at a later date. Sharay tilted her head to the side for a moment, her brows drawn together as she eyed the odd concoction that the fiesty redhead was downing like water.
"Do all eternal beings drown themselves in drink to ease themselves, or is it a preferred custom?" Without waiting for a response, Sharay unfolded her legs and stood then. She flashed Valorius a smile that could have meant anything.
"And to think how horrid of an idea of mine this -could- have been." Shaking her head, laughter filling her dark eyes, she found herself once more at the bar to set her glass down.
"So!" She began brightly to the two of them.
"Now that all pleasantries," she said the last word with slight sarcasm,
"are out of the way, shall we get to know each other a bit better?" She paused then, cocking her head to the side as she snickered.
"Actually Valorius I've gotten to know you quite well. Perhaps we shall pass on this part of the game with you and focus of your lovely better half instead, hmm?" Folding her arms under her breasts, Sharay gave her full attention to Amunette.
"You radiate hostility, yet I don't believe it is personally directed at me." Not that Sharay cared if it was or not.
"But I am not here to treat you for whatever disorders you might have. I truly am here to...bond...with you, I suppose," she laughed then.
"So let the bonding begin."Valorius MalkuThe Mention Of Discord Had Him Raising His Right Hand And Giving Amunette The Finger As He Looked To His Empty Glass. Damn, He Was Going To Have To Get Up Wasn't He? Wait No, Fuck That. He Glanced To Amunette, Then The Bottle, Pointing At It And Then Opening His Hand As If To Catch It.
"For the record, Discord's been a decent captain. She's loyal and the guards listen to her..she just has... baggage." After Amunette Tossed Him The Bottle Of Eau de Vie He Pulled The Cork From It And Pouring Himself Another Drink Before Setting The Bottle Down And Taking The Glass In Hand. While He Had Fixed Himself A 2nd Bit Of French Schnapps, Amunette Had Seemed To Find A Peaceful Civility With Sharay, And Again He Felt Himself Relax A Bit. Sharay's Question Of Whether Or Not Eternals Drown Their Issues With Alcohol Made Him Laugh A Little As He Took A Drink. His Father Didn't Drink Alcohol, His Mother Had The Occasional Bit Of Wine, Ameerah Had Been A Lush, Amunette Liked Her Liquor, And He Had Only Started Enjoying It In The Last Year Or 2. The Alcohol Wasn't What Effected Them Though, It Was The 'Alterations' Made To It That Helped The Effects Along. It Wasn't To Escape From Reality Though, It Was To Help Deaden The Constant Influx Of Information And Sensation, At Least For Him. It Helped Submerge The Intensity In A Sea Of Intoxication, And For A Little While At Least, It Was Peaceful. That's What He Thought To Himself As He Looked Over Sharay At The Bar, Then Glanced To Amunette In Her Chair.
"Yes. Let the bonding begin. If you need I can go outside or something while you two paint nails, or braid hair or whatever it is that your gender does." Again He Looked Towards Sharay From Over The Rim Of His Glass.
"And you're right. Her hostility isn't for you..it's for everything and everyone. Even I'd have to sleep with my pistol when she was around...if I slept that is."Ameerah AmunetteValorius lipped her off as Sharay assured her she wasn't Discord but it was Valorius' words that had her responding.
"Yes, she's loyal just like any fucking dog and they obey her because you told them too." Glancing to Sharay she elaborated a bit,
"She's really nothing more than a charity case and colossal pain in my ass." If it was one thing she agreed with Ameerah on, it was Discord. Neither of them cared for the half-wit. Sharay went on to question their alcohol consumption and Valorius attempted to explain it. Her answer? A shrug and and two words,
"It's fun." Hearing Sharay speak of bonding she was finally able to be the one laughing as, glancing towards where Sharay was standing near the bar she smirked slightly.
"The last chick I bonded with was naked and shackled to my bed. Are you volunteering?" Her brows rose slightly, amusement lacing her voice as she suggested Sharay might wish to take the place of the submissive that had been in her bed. Kisa, maybe? Or Rain? She tended to forget. You ever forget? It happened to her.
"And as for you, chuckles, I wouldn't stab you in your sleep, silly boy. It's much more satisfying to watch your face as you die." Her voice was saccharine in tone, as if to imply she was serious, though in truth Valorius was likely the only person she'd never considered killing at least once. Sharay wanted to...bond with her. Well, that only left one question as far as she was concerned.
"Why?" It was blunt and to the point but also genuine. There was no mockery in her tone, she simply wished to know Sharay's motives. Many would question why she asked, assuming Sharay would simply lie to her regardless of her true motives, but for some reason she doubted Sharay would lie in this instance. If for no other reason because she considered Valorius a friend. Eventually her lips eased into a smile,
"I don't think there's room inside me for the both of us and the mongrel."SharayThe banter, if one could call it that, between Valorius and Amunette was downright hysterical, but Sharay did her best to contain herself. Instead she tossed him the bottle...you know, like the servant he obviously believed her to be *snicker*, and returned to eye Amunette who spoke of naked shackled women. How interesting. Sharay raked a look down the barely dressed woman's body and cocked her head to the side in consideration.
"I am no one's toy, pleasure or not, however...," The Goddess smiled wickedly then to her.
"I wouldn't turn down such a tempting offer if presented." There. The offer was made on her part. Sharay refilled her glass since it was obviously the 'fun' thing to do and shrugged at Amunette's question.
"Why not? You are Padishah of Heruin and a princess in your own realm. Why wouldn't I find you of interest?" She sipped her drink then, a brief flicker of her gaze directed to Valorius.
"Truly am I that untrustworthy in this pathetic little mudhole called Aleris?" The question was followed by a smirk before she sighed.
"I am fond of 'chuckles', here, as you well know and figured you would be just as appealing to me. And you are, dear Amunette." Sharay leaned against the bar, her nails tapping against her glass.
"I have no reason -not- to get to know you, and for the record, my dear," Sharay leered a smile at her.
"I would find the room inside of you. Believe me." Valorius MalkuDiscord Had Always Been Loyal, And While She'd Always Been A Bit Of A Strain On His Patience, She Had Accomplished Every Task He'd Given Her Up To That Point. He Knew Amunette Didn't Really Care For Her, Seemed To Be The Only Thing That She And Ameerah Could Agree On. So Rather Than Get Into A Debate About Why She Was Useful, He Just Took Another Drink From His Glass While Listening To Sharay And His Wife Talk About Bonding, And There Was Some Mention Of One Of Them Being Chained To A Bed, And With All That Back And Forth He Couldn't Help Glancing To The 2 Of Them, Tilting His Head And Giving Another Shrug, This Time With Both Shoulders.
"It's been a while since I took in a good show. Without a war going on I've got less than nothing to do. So...if there isn't anyone that I'm allowed to kill who deserves it, than that would be a nice second choice. I can even hold up score cards." It Was All Said Dryly, No Look On His Face That He Was Kidding. To Be Honest Though It Was A Good Thing That They Were At Least Talking. He'd Had So Many Ideas Of How This Whole Experience Could Have Gone, And So Far They'd All Been Proven Wrong -- So Far. Lifting His Left Leg To Rest Cross It Over His Right, He Leaned Further Back Into His Chair And Smirked Softly.
"If Ameerah's going to be leaving...you're going to have to find someone to rent her old room in your head. That's prime real estate, can't just leave it vacant."Ameerah AmunetteAmeerah smirked when Sharay questioned whether she was that untrustworthy.
"It's not you... completely. I don't trust anyone." Save Valorius, of course, but he knew that and a soft glance in his direction qualified that just in case he needed reassurance. Her smirk only widened when Sharay announced she was no one's toy. They always said that..initially. She didn't seem completely adverse to the idea, though, and that only amused her further. The emptied glass was set aside, the comment about Sharay finding space inside her head coinciding with Valorius stating she would need to find someone to replace Ameerah.
"No..I don't think that will be happening any time soon. I might allow the occasional visit, but I'd much rather my mind be my own. As much as it ever is, anyway," she finished, her smirk turning on Valorius. Sharay explained why exactly she would want to meet her and she couldn't help but nod,
"I am fucking awesome, this is true." Hearing Valorius she looked back to him in time to see his dead pan expression as he spoke of watching the two women together for entertainment.
"Who said you get to watch?" she questioned tartly.
"Well then, it appears we have a house guest. Shall we make a room up for you? Or would you prefer your own house? The island is rather large and I could have something constructed in...minutes." She didn't elaborate on how but it was a fact, much in the way she constructed the golems, a structure could be made with just a little expenditure of energy.
"There is plenty of room here, though and as long as I don't find you naked in bed with Valorius, I don't think it will kill any of us." She smiled brightly at that, giving the one and only mention of how she would react should Sharay get designs on Valorius, and he be stupid enough to accept them. Rape stabbing wouldn't even begin to cover it. And as she contemplated the act of rape stabbing them to death she continued to smile.
SharaySharay couldn't help the smile that was plastered on her face. Was it necessary to reassure Amunette that not even she would be so crass as to attempt to bed Valorius in their own house? She didn't deem it so, but perhaps a small utterance to put the woman's mind at ease.
"You have my word I will not violate him during my stay here." Sharay's word was as good as gold as far as she was concerned, and when she gave it, she kept it. The Goddess shrugged though at the idea of residing in their home.
"Let us be realistic here. As generous as your offer is, dear girl, I really have no interest to invade your personal life for whatever extended period of time I chose to remain here. Though I would prefer my own temple," she smirked then.
"that is not to be. I can find my own accomodations in Heruin surely." She slid a sideways glance toward Valorius and said with as straight of a face as possible.
"I am sure your manhood breathes a sigh of relief that it will remain secure from my lustful ways." Her lips twitched even as she spoke, fighting the grin that wanted to appear and toasted both of them with her glass.
"To new friendships, and avoiding unnecessary bloodshed," She tilted her glass back and drained the liquid contents smoothly.
"Now that there does not appear to be any impending doom lurking on the Alerian horizon, whatever shall you two do with all your spare time?"Valorius MalkuAll The Talk As If He Wasn't Even There. Don't Sleep With Him, Promise Not To Have Sex With Him, Invitations To Stay On The Island In Her Own Little Mudhut. All He Could Do Was Listen On, And When Sharay Asked Him Her Question It Was Immediately Met With The Emphasized Slurp Of Alcohol As He Drank From His Glass. When He Finally Lowered It, He Raised An Eyebrow And Responded -- Because It Seemed That It Was A Good Time For Him To Do So.
"Uh...yes. I swear we will not fuck while she's a guest here. And if I end up naked in bed it's because I got drunk and passed out." He Smirked, Though He Looked As If He Was Being Serious. To Be Honest Though He Couldn't Get Drunk, Much Less Pass Out. Sharay Went On To Ask What They Did In Their Spare Time, And He Glanced To Amunette Before Turning Back To Sharay.
"There might not always be a war going on, but the potential's always there so..I still command the protectorate. Besides, the Elites need structure. They're not like the regular soldiers. They need a cause, something to do. Without it they can turn...violent." They Were Trained Incredibly Well, Perhaps Too Well. Without A Battle To Fight, That Combative Instinct Tended To Turn Inward.
"Amunette here polishes her knife collection and plots my death...so we both keep pretty busy." Then Came The Mention Of Her Staying On Heruin, And He Raised An Eyebrow With A Tilt Of His Head.
"Seriously. You have an issue with invading personal lives..really? I'd say murdering all those people was invading their lives in a pretty personal way. Besides, if you're on this island there's less a chance for any type of drama. Remember..we might all be friends here but, outside..most of the world still kind of wants to cut your fucking head off. Just saying."
