On the other continents, Bariston in Elved is at the start of its reconstruction efforts as well thanks to the direction of Layla Victoire. The mayor of Vandual is offering assistance to the cities of Elved as Vandual was bypassed in the recent therianthrope and Aliscowri attacks. On Arthuran, which is now under the direction of Verial Akilara, Chaliceton is in the process of finishing the rebuilding of their own city just in time for the harsh winters that plague the continent. The continent of Heruin is in better sorts now with an official leader. Padishah Ameerah Sultan has been visiting each and every one of the cities to check on their statuses and conditions. Many of Heruin's natives are pleased to have an official ruling body to turn to as the desert continent has been in the dark for quite some time.
Still, despite all the efforts to restore Aleris to the beauty and splendor that it once was, there are ongoing battles at our doorsteps. From a portal came a group of people known as the 'Almeddans'. Official words is that they came to our realm to help protect Aleris' people in their time of need and in return, the Almeddans would be allowed to use our trade. However, with the Almeddans arrival, it appears a small scale war was brought near Jade City and another just south of Grand City. While the true cause is unknown, I have heard word that is has something to do with the people of Almedda fighting over conquest (bringing the battle to Aleris' lands) and an attempt to capture Aleris' gods and use them as weapons, all led by a creature called the 'Spider Birvuo' named Meristali. While it seems some Almeddans are working against this Meristali, the outcome is currently unclear.
Grand City soldiers led by Madrin Kir and Captain Cyrus Rose have been rallied to help put an end to the current newfound violence swarming Eiler once more. Already an army of stone golems were stopped outside Jade City. The militia marched towards a grove south of Grand City where a vortex appeared in the sky over it. King Elias has sent news that he requests everyone stay clear of the grove and let the Grand City soldiers stop the battle without civilians attempting to interfere. My prayers go out to the soldiers of Grand City that hopefully they will return home safe and be aided by some of the Almeddans in the end.
