Our Voices

"In the meantime," Elijah began, finishing the sentence for the man next to him, "get rid of Shimmer Town, then the rest of Elved and then... Aleris."

"And the children?"

Elijah offered a shrug. "Appetizers?"

So, what games is everyone playing?

I know we all have other hobbies outside of written roleplay (at least I would hope so) and I know a big one of mine is gaming in general. So, I figured, other people might have the same related hobby since we share this one in common.

MMO's:
I play DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online), WoW (World of Warcraft), Champions Online. Mostly DDO though. I am hoping to try out Star Wars: The Old Republic once it goes free to play next month. Also, can't wait for Guild Wars 2 to come out this year.

Don't have an Xbox, at least not a 360, I'm still on my Playstation 2. :) I like playing on my computer more anyways. I don't even own a T.V. that was made in the last decade.

Console Games:
Still love the Zelda series. Devil May Cry is one of my favorites. Final Fantasy (of course). And many others. On my computer I am currently playing Skyrim (love and super addicting), but I can occasionally be found playing Sims Generations when I need a break from being a pack rat on Skyrim.

Board Games:
I have been wanting to try Munchkin really bad. Which is just pen and paper RP made into a goofy quick paced board game. It's awesome. I'm still a Scrabble nerd and yes, I bother my friends on Facebook constantly with my 'Words with Friends' challenges. Beware!

So, what about you?

In a world beyond controlling, are you gonna deny the savior in front of your eyes?

I love Munchkin! But are you playing Munchkin Quest, because regular Munchkin is just a card game. No board involved. :D

For me...

MMO's:
Currently playing Tera Online, action MMO. Fun stuff!

Console Games:
Playing Tales of Vesperia on X-box 360 right now, because I love "Tales" games.

Board Games:
Not really a board game per say, but I playing Magic the Gathering often. Does Pathfinder also fit in here?

I have been horribly addicted to a few games:

Age of Mythology (though I havent played in months) - I played this game for about six years. Even today I would get a kick out of playing it. There is an Age of Empires Online game which is decent, but I haven't been playing RTS games lately. I want to try Starcraft 2, I think it would be the best bet for RTS gamers. Or something along those lines (I heard SC2 is all about build orders, which is a bit boring). AoM is all about controlling armies to attack other players, while gathering resources and building your empire. All Age of Empires games are good, especially AoE:II, AoM:TT, and AoE:III.

Allods Online - Really addictive, really pay-to-win game. Only reason I play still is because I'm an old player so I earned a lot of crap through the in-game. Honestly the game isn't that great because of the P2Win aspect. But it's free to play, and if you're good at trading you'll do fine, since you can get all p2w items with gold. Otherwise you won't make enough gold to afford the expensive bonuses. It's like Diablo, you get higher levels and gather gear.

League of Legends - this one is fun and 100% free. It's a blend of RTS and MMO. It's based on Warcraft games where you have heroes and weaklings fighting battles. In this game you control only one hero - of your choosing - alongside your teammates. It's a PvP, skill based game. Champions fill different rolls - tank, healer, mage, ranged, etc - so you need to make sure your group has a decent composition against the other group. And you need to exploit your particular strengths and avoid your weaknesses.

I would try all those games if you can get it for free. The last two are online games, free to play, so nothing to lose but hard-drive space and time :)

"That night, Eurynomos dreamed of animals. Animals he'd never seen before.
He dreamed of tigers fighting spiders. He dreamed an eagle screamed and struck down the sun.
His mind drew pictures of wolves hunting bears, of machines in chaotic landscapes,
of gods weeping and laughing in merriment as the animals played their primal games."

Minecraft for Xbox, MW3, Dead Island, looking forward to the new Halo.. Not much else, kinda lame when it comes to games though Skyrim: Dawnguard does come out in 3 days so probably be playing that once it does.

Around, wish I could say I've been on an epic journey around the world, just been hanging out really working. Mystic kind died while I was at college, posted a couple times here but felt like I didn't know anybody/lost interest in the new sl I was starting so kinda faded away again. Was just googling old screen names and this popped up, so decided to come back again, need something to put some energy to on the computer.

Err, wrong log in, for those who don't know I play both Soul and Darius just so thats out there as I am sure I might do this again in the OOC forums.

Its just a few of us here. Its kind of nice smaller though. A lot less on the drama factor. Its awesome to see you again! And Darius. Haven't seen that name actually played (and not as an NPC) in awhile.

You might want to read Isabella's history SL I started since it seems Kevin had volunteered Darius and Isabella as scouts from Mystic when he started playing here. I was trying to work it all out, haven't finished yet, but Darius is my posts.

Yay! *excited*

Who gave me an axe? :P Yeah I will definitely read as much as I can and rebuild the character in my mind, though I like the addition of the axe, always felt Darius was lacking in a close range weapon that showed dominance. Hopefully my lack of rp for the last 2-3 years doesn't hinder me to much, may be a bit rusty starting out.

You and me both, I just recently came back about a week ago after being gone for 3 years. I think I left probably 6 months after you did. My personal life went *kaboom*. It was awesome.
