A full, silver colored circle hung in the night sky. This glowing moon gave the weres just enough light to see their destination. They had followed the hybrid's - Verial Akilara's - scent to the Villa and lurked safely behind the thick canopy of trees that surrounded his home. The four therianthropes, a small but powerful group, had been travelling fast, but their journey from Elved to Eiler took a few days. From trekking through snow covered lands and stopping very little, they were hungry with an almost insatiable appetite and were barely unable to hold back attacking whoever might be peacefully sleeping within the Villa.
From time to time, each werewolf would lift their nose into the air and inhale deeply in various directions. After letting a few minutes pass, all of them began to sense there were only a few people residing within the Villa - about three or four females, some younger and some older. This would provide them with the perfect meal before heading back to Elved. At this thought, the male quartet of beastly creatures turned to each other with razor-sharp fang adorned grins.
"I hope you're all hungry," one of them said with a voice that was both a whisper and a growl.
"Give the call... then wait until they come outside. It's so dark out, those fools won't even know what hit them... or bit them rather."
There was a snicker and then a few seconds later, four long and loud howls pierced the otherwise quiet night air. The hair raising sound was enough to wake anyone who might have been resting within the Villa. And it was obvious to those that heard the noise that the howls were not just from your average pack of wolves. It was something much more fearsome and bloodthirsty, waiting to shred its unaware victims to pieces.
"What if they don't come outside?" one of the werewolves asked.
"Then we go in and drag them out. We can always get our meals to go."
