He wasn't sure if his words would have the effect he hoped they would on the shifter, but he felt a bit better just having gotten them out. Now he only hoped that he hadn't angered her enough to kill him in his sleep.

Rumor Has It….

That just when I began to hope that Jass Strata would heed my advice and seek therapy while far far away from Maxim Redmont I hear rumors to the exact contrary! Rumors from a little birdie, well a seagull actually, informed me that they were spotted canoodling on one of Aleris’ many beaches last night and worse then that!

He’s proposed to her!

Whether or not she had accepted the homicidal Redmont’s proposal is as yet unknown but in light of the situation I can only say…

Jass! Please! One final attempt to make you see reason! Run for your life or at least your sanity!!

In spite of my plea, I have no doubt the next issue of the Grapevine will contain an announcement that Ms. Strata has accepted her proposal. It seems she has typical battered women’s syndrome, “But he loves me!” The question is though…does he really? Or is she just another pawn in his fanatical pursuit to destroy the other half of his family? And let’s not forget, to my knowledge he is still married to Daphne Redmont! God only knows what the equally psycho Mrs. Redmont will think of the news that her husband has proposed to another woman. Multiple marriages are not unheard of but she hardly seems the type to share!

Whatever happens the next few weeks will no doubt be interesting, to say the least.

Don’t forget! The Festival of the Dead will be held tomorrow night on Nov 4th! (6pm Pacific Standard Time, 7pm Mountain Standard Time, 8pm Central Standard Time, 9pm Eastern Standard Time). The feast of the Dead will be followed by a Masked Costume Ball! This reporter will naturally be in attendance devil horns in place! Such events are hotbeds for gossip and you can rest assured I will hear about it all!

Until Next Time..

That’s The Rumor!
