The trio of Brina, Alexien and Wish made their way towards the perimeter of Aurora's temple. Wish did not know if she believed in Aurora, Aleris' deity of Spring, but she thought it would be the safest place to keep away any demons temporarily. In fact, she was not positive of the temple's location, but knew it was someplace to the southeast of Grand City. The forests were thick and green along the path they traveled and though she felt safest in the forests, she hoped the many number of trees were not haven to any hiding beasts.

Finally they reached a clearing in the forest covered by a canopy of trees where they stopped to set up a camp. Wish gently and slowly sat down on the ground as Brina and Alexien got a fire going. As she dug around in her pack for food for the three of them, Wish gave both her wings a gentle flick. The ointment Brina had spread on her wings was working fast and she could feel them returning to normal at least. Then again, her wings had a tendency to patch themselves up pretty fast as if it were some sort of defense mechanism. After all, what was a fairy without her wings?

Wish pulled out some bread, cheese and berries she had found in her pack and set them aside. In addition to that, she pulled a small, hooded cloak she had stored away inside the bag and draped it over herself. For a while, these small actions kept her from not focusing on the pain that was still lingering in her leg. Nevertheless, like a bad memory, the ache brought her away from her whatever it was she was doing. Wish found herself sucking in a breath then letting out a hiss as she rubbed at her tender leg. She removed the boots she had been wearing, careful not to move too fast.

Wish shook her head and breathed in again, though shakily. She hoped she would not come down without any sort of fever. As soon as her wings healed, she was sure she could assist Brina in healing as well. Part of her had been glad she was born a healer, but not glad it had evidently caused her to now be marked by Six. It was just then that Wish had remembered seeing something while diving into EmmaLeigh's past.

"You know those girls who had summoned the demon... they had help from some man in the first fight against the demon. He was wearing a long, leather coat and a wide brimmed hat. I think he was some sort of mage and from what I was able to see, his magic was effective in keeping the demon at bay. Perhaps he would know something... if I could seek him out and if the demons have not killed him yet either. "

As she was doing this, she finally lifted her head towards Brina and Alexien, aware she had been looking towards the ground the whole time. "I'm afraid I haven't had the time to introduce myself. My name is Wish," she began. "I wanted to thank you both again. It's been a very long time since I've been the recipient of such kindness, that is not to say my life has been terrible. Despite this situation, there are others far worse off then myself... Anyway, what brings you two to Aleris?"

Brina could only roll her eyes and smile as she heard Alexien confront the guards with what she affectionately called his “Drunk Irish Priest” persona. It worked though, as it always did, and Alexien was soon rejoining them, the guards on their way with EmmaLeigh’s body. Wish had begun trying to rise and gathering up her supplies she offered what physical support Wish needed to gain her feet.

Glancing to Alexien as Wish retrieved her belongings behind the counter she shook her head in mock chastisement.”Ye know I’ll be the one havin’ tae get that god awful whiskey smell outta ye’re clothin’, don’t yah?” She grinned to show she was only teasing but there was truly no need. Such banter was quite usual between the two.

Wish returned to their side and draped an arm over each of them for support. She had revealed she had no personal lodgings other than Foresights and though Brina and Alexien had arranged a residence it was all the way in the Autumn Lands of Galenous in the West. Wish needed to heal before she could be transported that far and given their current situation they needed to find a safe location as soon as possible. Wish suggested the forest near the temple of the Goddess of Spring, Aurora.

Brina had been studying the realm since their arrival and was not surprised by Wish’s suggestion. Of all the Gods who ruled over this dimensional realm she suspected Aurora was a natural choice for the fae or whatever they called this realms nature spirits. It was the most logical choice in the Eastern Lands so it was agreed that would be their destination. Stepping outside the shop Brina paused just long enough to use her free hand to raise the crystal tipped staff she carried into the air where she moved it in a slow circle, a soft tune humming beneath her breath.

Within moments a dense fog began to roll in and soon they were surrounded, the mist thick enough to hide their departure from the shop. All over town the mist shrouded the city until the unusual trio reached the city limits and escaped into the protected shelter of the forest when it dissipated completely leaving the unsuspecting denizens of the Grand City to wonder if perhaps a storm was brewing from over the ocean.

They moved swiftly and in silence, ever alert to any possible danger. Six had departed but there was no guarantee that the demon wasn’t nearby just waiting for them to drop their guard. The closer they came to the heart of the Eastern Lands and Aurora’s temple the stronger she could feel it, the Earth’s vibration, like a song being hummed beneath ones breath. Each land in this realm, she had discovered, vibrated with an elemental energy and the closer they came to Aurora’s temple the stronger she could hear the Earth’s song. Finding a suitable clearing near the temple they decided to make camp for the evening and she and Alexien set about making a fire while Wish rested and hunted for food in her pack.

Alexien prepared a rudimentary stone barrier with plenty of kindling and wood and settling herself next to its outline she herself began to prepare the fire though it wasn’t done through conventional means. Rather she held her hand over the empty pit and requested the appearance of the element of Fire. Just when it seemed Fire would ignore her request the wood burst into flames, crackling merrily as it consumed the offering left in the stone circle. Though the base elements were the same here it was, in fact, a different world and her connection with the elements of this world was tenuous though growing, albeit slowly.

Smiling and bowing her head in thanks to the Spirit of Fire she heard Wish’s voice, speculating on something she had seen during her interaction with the now dead girl. The description of the man she’d seen beating back the demon did not sound familiar but that meant very little considering she was new to Aleris.

”Was the girl native tae Aleris do ye know? If she met this man in another realm it could be difficult findin’ ‘im. We could try a locator spell though. If this demon is loose in Aleris and killin’ willy nilly we may want tae let this man know.”

From what she could tell about Aleris demons were as common place here as they were in the various other realms they had visited. They lived lives and had families and businesses and all that went along with it. It wasn’t always easy to remember that not all demons were a threat but this one clearly was and as she spoke the possibility of a locator spell she glanced towards Alexien as if silently seeking his agreement.

Rising from her place next to the fire she approached Wish having noticed the subtle hints of pain she was in and eased down next to her. The other woman had introduced herself and Brina smiled brightly.

”It is a pleasure tae meet ye Wish. I canna remember if I told you me name in the fray but I am Brina Kincade and that there is me husband, Father Alexien Kincade. We came to Aleris lookin’ for a new start. Guess we’ve found it.”

Her grin widened, undisturbed by the turn of events. It was what they did, their purpose as it were, and though they had had personal reasons for coming to Aleris it seemed as if there was a greater purpose at work. There usually was and she took it in stride as she did everything else. Nodding her head towards her legs to indicate she had seen the signs of pain Wish had displayed her voice gentled a bit.

”Is your leg painin’ ye lass? I’d be happy tae take a look at it.”

I've heard it said that 'No good deed goes unpunished', and I've always found that there's something to be said about that saying. Usually of course for me it's more like 'no deed goes unpunished', but that's beside the point. I'd just fired my entire staff at the tavern, and I wasn't really looking forward to interviewing another hundred applicants for a simple bar tending position. I mean seriously, I'm asking you if you can pour a drink, not if you know how to mix potions or summon minions. Yes, I'm a wizard, but that has nothing to do with whether or not you can mix cocktails.

I put the "help wanted" sign back up in the window, and started towards some of the other shops. I figured that I couldn't be the only one not having any luck with the hiring situation. Maybe some of the other managers would have some suggestions. I was still new at this running a tavern thing, but still, I couldn't be that bad at it could I?

I started to reach for the door of First Impressions when I heard a loud crack and shouting coming from Foresight's. Breaking out into a run, I made it to the store just in time for everything to be over. I overheard people talking about there being a dead girl, and a summoned demon being unleashed. It sounded like a cliche, one that I'd heard far too many times. I began to turn and walk away as it seemed everything was taken care of.

That was until I heard someone say that the girl was from another realm, and that she had been followed by the demon. I turned and found a law officer.

"Officer, can I ask you if there was anything about the girl having come to Aleris with another girl?"

The man looked me up and down almost as if wondering whether I was trying to start trouble or not. Then cautiously he nodded, "Yeah, she came here trying to hide with her friend. They thought the demon was dead, but apparently the hack who 'helped' them didn't completely kill the monster."

I choose to ignore the hack comment since I was trying to play nice and he was giving me information without me threatening him, so I guess I couldn't complain too much. "Well thank you Sir. I appreciate your help." As I started to turn away he reached out and grabbed my arm.

"Now wait a minute. Who are you?" his hand had gone to his sword and I could almost feel the tension in his body. "And how did you know about the other girl?"

I sighed and tried really hard not to let my growing anger show. "I'm that 'hack'." I said as I jerked my arm from his grasp. I was pissed, but not at the man. I was amazed that someone other then myself would have thought to ask the questions he had. He didn't make a move to stop me again, but as I made my way back to the Tavern, I couldn't help feeling like I was being watched.

She had to admit, as soon as Brina got the fire started, the flickering flames and the heat that emitted felt damn good against her skin. Wish sighed contentedly and broke apart some of the bread she had taken along with her, offering some to Brina and Alexien afterwards. Though her leg was still causing her pain - moving was probably not the best choice, but it was her only one a few hours ago - the campfire seemed to make things a little bit brighter.

"Nay, she came to Aleris with that man. They had all been exiled from where the demon was originally summoned and the darned beast followed them into the portal I suppose," Wish shook her head as she chewed on some of the bread. Then she titled her head rather curiously towards Brina and put her food aside for a moment. "How does a locator spell work? I do not have anything belonging to this man... but maybe if you could cast the spell through memories since I've seen what EmmaLeigh went through."

Wish's gaze followed Brina's toward Alexien and the fae wondered if he was the expert on that subject. Either way, she was certainly glad to have them both around. At this point, she wouldn't have known how to deal with this situation, in a new land and against a very powerful foe... She would have probably just died back at Foresights. Wish was not particularly afraid of demons; she had met quite a few in her lifetime that she was able to befriend. However, Six was not exactly the type of demon you wanted to sit down and have a cup of tea with. She shuddered at the thought of what he would have done to her body had Alexien and Brina not shown up. She was very lucky to get away with injuries which would in time heal.

At Brina's suggestion, Wish nodded to the fellow fae woman. "Aye, it is. Would you mind helping me? I am usually doing this sort of healing thing for others, but well..." Wish said as her words trailed off, thinking her next sentence was obvious. "Anyway, I can be a lot more help once I am able to walk around again."

Haste was paramount once he'd got the soldiers to depart with the dead girls body. Precautions were taken with the vessel so that should a demon attempt to use the body as a conduit the shell would burn to ash and any demon would become trapped between worlds. Death was often a tragedy but it would be more tragic for some antiquated sense of morality to cause more death and turmoil. Hopefully the girls corpse would make it back to her family -- and if not, than it was for the greater good. At least that was what he told himself. As the 3 made way from the shop to the outskirts of Aurora's temple with help from Brina's mist they encountered no other obstacles in their journey, and that was always a good thing.

The efficiency in which a fire was made and a camp was arranged revealed that this was far from the first time that the priest and his wife had made haven in the wilderness. Truth be told there was not a single terrain or bit of untamed nature that they hadn't found themselves at one time or another. Snow covered mountains, humid jungle, dense forest, even ships on the water. Evil did not reside in one place alone so for that reason neither could they. They had to be prepared to 'dig in' anywhere that was necessary. But, as far as terrain goes it was a calm and pleasant place that Wish had chosen for them to set camp.

Brina and Wish spoke while he chose only to listen for the time being. He circled the perimeter of the camp, gathering firewood while searching the outlining trees for any possible areas that could be exploited should something or someone attack in the night. The only attention he seemed to directly offer the 2 women is when Brina introduced herself and him, to which he turned his eyes to Wish and smiled quite warmly with a nod of his head. After he'd gathered enough wood to last until daylight he moved back to the fire and set the kindling nearby before crouching near the flames. Reaching out his palms to it he looked into the fire for a moment or two, turning his hands this way and that before finally speaking.

"Magic is my wife's gift. The knowledge I have of it is rather novice compared to hers. I know steel..and I know evil. If the demon followed them here than it obviously had no fear of the girls or this man that traveled with them. Either that or necessity outweighed fear. With its summoners dead it is no longer bound by the laws pertaining to a summoned demon. It can kill whoever it likes..do whatever it likes. As of now it's a dog without a leash. It will want to strengthen itself first. Right now it's far too weak to be a threat in a world full of supernatural beings, so it will target lesser things. Humans. Animals. It will feed its power until it believes it's strong enough to endure any who might come to eliminate it. Fortunately..."

His eyes turned from the fire to Wish, and again he smiled. Only this smile was much more telling of just how confident he was in he and Brina's abilities. After all, this was not their profession -- it was their life. "..we arrived before it could claim your power for itself. For now it will stay to the darkness and prey on individuals. When we encounter it again it will be much stronger than it was before."

Standing up from beside the fire he smiled in thanks as he accepted some of the bread and cheese. A bite here and a bite there while he continuously looked between the 2 women and the outlining woods showed that he was always on alert. There was no such thing as relaxation when the training took over. Even something that should comfort a man like good food came 2nd to maintaining a high state of awareness. Hearing Wish speak as Brina offered to help her with her leg he again looked towards the 2 of them.

"I promise you there's no better pair of hands to care for you than hers. Once she's eased your wounds you should rest. I have no doubt you're quite capable of helping us in the time to come, but you're no good to anyone if you're too tired to see what's coming. I'll take watch."

He finished the bread and the cheese and proceeded to walk passed the women, his left hand easing out so that he could affectionately run his fingertips across his wifes cheek. A brief smile was offered down to her -- but there was an almost apologetic look in his eyes. He'd wanted things to be different for them. A better life to live in peace. A home..perhaps children. And yet here they were again. She deserved more. "I won't go far."

With the ankle length black cassock he wore he seemed to just disappear into the darkness. Even with all the leaves and twigs on the forest floor he didn't make a single sound while slowly circling the outskirt of their campground.

And so -- the hunt begins once more.

Wish accepted her offer of help with her healing though it seemed she did so reluctantly, more used to being the healer in scenarios such as this. She understood quite well where Wish was coming from so approached it all as matter-of-factly as possible. With the fire blazing its warmth throughout the small clearing and Alexien finally warming himself by its flames after ensuring there was enough firewood to last them the evening she set about her own task.

Removing the deep forest green cloak she wore she draped it over a nearby rock and with its absence would reveal the various things she had attached to her belt beneath it. The brown leather sack that she had retrieved her healing supplies from earlier was retrieved as well as several smaller pouches that had been concealed by the presence of the cloak. As this had been intended as a simple outing she hadn’t loaded up as she usually would nor had she brought any weapon but the staff which was now standing upright a few feet from the fire having been stuck into the ground as if a guard post of some kind. She was always prepared for any eventuality, though, regardless of the intentions of the evening. They knew better than most that any situation could turn dangerous at any time, the enemies they faced could be found anywhere, at any time.

Moving next to Wish’s injured leg she gently reached out and began assessing the damage, her touch light and oddly soothing. The damage wasn’t irreparable and she had a few tricks up her sleeve to help speed the healing. After determining what she would need she set about preparing her remedies, her lilting voice filling the clearing as she added her own insights to the ongoing conversation.

”’Tis the truth a locator spell will be more difficult without any personal affects belongin’ to the demon but it isn’t impossible. The results canna be guaranteed, though, but if we intend tae track this thing it may be our only option. Though I canna imagine he will be hard tae find if he keeps on the way he’s been.”

They’d dealt with their fair share of demons and it didn’t seem as if Six was the type to keep to the shadows and fly under the radar. If he kept on the path he’d started on this evening he would continue to kill, likely targeting the man Wish spoke of next. Quickly and efficiently she worked with her medicinal supplies until she’d prepared the appropriate concoction and turning back to Wish’s leg did her best not to jostle the injured limb as she exposed it enough to apply her healing remedies.

Using strips of clean linen she always carried with her (blood and injuries went hand in hand with their profession) she began wrapping the injured leg tightly, the herbal mixture held within so that the leg could absorb the healing energies of the plants she had given a little extra juice too. Once it was bound tightly, yet comfortably, she removed several small disks made of the same stone she’d placed on Wish’s chest and slid them into the bindings. Almost instantly the healing magic would begin to do its work, the energy always there regardless of who administered it, but in her hands it had a little extra magic to it.

”Ye’ll be right and tight by mornin’, lass, dinna ye worry. Maybe we could ask about town, see if anyone has seen this man ye saw, Wish. Would ye recognize him from the visions if ye saw him?”

Having done all she could with the limited supplies she’d carried she settled in next to Wish near the fire, her eyes watching her husband as he warmed his hands, speculating on the demon they now hunted. Wish’s leg should be fully healed by morning if her remedies worked as they should. Wish had offered them bread and cheese and only now that the healing had been seen too did she begin to partake of the offered food, a smile of thanks given to Wish as she bit into the bread.

Alexien chose that moment to announce he would be taking watch and moved around the fire to her side, her head tilting back to meet his gaze as his hand gently brushed her cheek. She could see the apology in his eyes and in response she only smiled, her own gaze filled with nothing but her love for him and their life together. They were going to be around a lot longer than either of them had ever anticipated; there would be time for a peaceful life, children, and all that went with it. What they did was important, it mattered, especially to the lives they’d saved and the people they had helped over the years. She wouldn’t change anything about their life.

Turning to head for the woods he promised he wouldn’t go far and she called out behind him,” See that ye don’t, Lexi, or I’ll be comin’ tae look for ye!”

He vanished into the woods and though she couldn’t see or hear him she knew he was there and could sense his presence as he moved in a circle around their camp. In the distance from over the ocean she could hear the sound of thunder rumbling through the sky and turning her gaze skyward she searched for any sign that they may end up getting rained on this evening.

As with the crackling of the lively fire Brina had started, Wish's mood seemed to brighten as well. At Alexien's mention of Brina's magical talent, Wish smiled and her wings fluttered out just a little bit, as much as they could in their healing state. It had been a very long time since Wish had been around another magic user (one that was a fellow Fae) and amongst the company of a trained fighter. She was fortunate to have such guardians that came to her aide at the right time.

Alexien's words, however, were slightly troublesome. It was clear they had a demon on the loose and Wish mentally made it her priority to track that man with the hat down and get him to do something about Six. After all, this was all his fault, right? She'd blame it on EmmaLeigh, but the girl was dead. And about targeting lesser things as Alexien explained, she had an inkling of a thought that Six probably assumed she was no threat at all; some sort of vermin he could just squish. Well, she'd give him a piece of her mind next time she saw the demon.

Wish let out a sigh as her olive colored eyes met Alexien's. "Thankfully, this time I am not alone if he bothers to try coming back again," she started. Her lips formed into a tight line and she shook her head gently before speaking again. "The demon has already had at least three girls who knew magic; I could have been the fourth. I do hope I see him again before he has the chance to prey on anyone else. Next time, I will not be caught so unaware..."

Brina began gathering her things to assist in healing Wish's injured leg and like any good patient, though a bit reluctant at first, she sat back and remained calm folding her hands in her lap. Wish was always interested in watching the way other people healed or used their magical energy, so she kept her eyes focused momentarily on Brina.

"Oh, I am determined now. Even if the locator spell does not work, I will find this man and tell him to take care of the demon right away," Wish said before Brina started healing. "Someone ought to take responsibility for the demon destroying my shop." She said it as if the man with the hat was Six's father and that the demon was some unruly child.

Moments after Brina had wrapped Wish's leg up with the linen and herbs, she felt a sort of soothing relief seeping through her skin. Slowly the remedy Brina prepared started to work its magic and Wish could feel the slow process of broken bone being mended back together. Wish's head nodded forward a little at the sensation that was tingling throughout her body know, the effect all together making her feel sleepy.

"Aye, I take your word for it," Wish said in response to Alexien's guarantee on Brina's work, though her eyes did not look up for him again. Instead her eyelids were closed as if she were about to pass out and she barely was able to murmur, "Thank you, Brina. I'll make sure I find this man to take care of the demon. I'm carving his face into my mind so I can... spot him... a mile... away..."

And with that, Wish was seemingly out of it, lulled off to sleep. As Brina ate and Alexien kept watch, Wish tuned out the world and let the healing do its work. She knew that the more still she stayed the better and faster the magic would finish. She felt confident that no harm would come to her throughout the night as Alexien was keeping watch and Brina was undoubtedly by her side, keeping an eye on her patient.


Wish had a dream that night she really did not want to have, but her mind had decided to turn against her...

[ Show content ] Her back had been pressed against a rather large rock and Six was hovering over her. The damn demon was penetrating her, this smirk etched across his face which couldn't be described as anything else but evil. Though she was aware that he was pushing deeply inside of her and her fate was going to be the same as those other girls, she couldn't stop him because some insane part of her was enjoying it too much. [ Hide content ]
Right as her head turned upwards to look at Six, he had begun to lower his fanged mouth, aimed at her neck and said, "I'm going to eat you."

And then she finally woke up, pushing herself into a sitting position, a shaky breath coming from her mouth. What the...? she thought. Upon looking down at herself, she realized her one hand had been resting on her lap visibly close to the inside of her thigh. Oh hell, she hoped she was not doing anything in her sleep... It had been a long time since Wish had been with anyone and she didn't miss it, so she wrinkled her nose in thought that her body might have betrayed her and actually enjoyed that dream with Six.

Despite letting out a flustered groan, Wish soon realized that her leg had been fully healed. Though it was stiff, she could move it without flinching. Slowly she stood and began to stretch it out as well as walk in small circles. After she was content she could move, she began to take off Brina's bandages. Just as she had bent over to do this, heavy rain started to pelt her back and wings. So the storm Brina had heard finally made it to them in the early morning hours.

"Aye, looks like we'll have to head back into town after all," Wish said not sure if Brina or Alexien had been within earshot. She was mostly saying it to herself. She was especially determined now after that dream to get rid of Six and get him out of her mind. Nevertheless, they would find their journey into town would not go unnoticed this time; there was something circling and looming above them in the gray and black, rain-filled clouds. Some danger that had not presented itself yet.

He'd been dead for too long. Admittedly by demon standards of time it wasn't much more then a blink of an eye, but for Six that was more then enough. What had happened to him, shouldn't have and the fact that it did pissed him off. He was alive again now though and that was what mattered. What he needed to do now was gather his strength and get ready for the next attack. He'd been alive long enough to know that when demon hunters were around they wouldn't leave well enough alone.

Quickly merging with the crowd out in front of the shoppe, Israfil watched as the crowd got bigger and bigger. The local constable was called and they did their best to contain the site. He was about to turn to leave when he felt the presence of another being he knew. Turning to scan the crowd Six stopped at the sight of a man in a long jacket and wide hat talking to a guard. The man was here too? Oh this would be great. Not only would he get his revenge on the bitches that brought him here, but he could kill the magling that helped them as well.

The man turned and walked back down the street and Six followed. His nudity caused one or two of the women in the crowd to blush, while it caused a couple of the men to scowl. He paid neither any mind as he followed the long coat back to a tavern, where he pulled a key from his pocket and let himself into the establishment. Obviously he was either a manager or a lacky trusted enough with the keys, so he should be easy to find later. Just come back here and look. But first he needed to regenerate some energy.

[ Show content ] He looked down at himself and grinned. He still hadn't bothered with clothing and the form he chose wasn't an unpleasant one to look at...dressed or not. He stood to his full almost 7 feet tall, which got him a few looks from those around him. Then he stretched his arms out around him, puffing his chest up as he did so. This form was well muscled, and well sized in all areas.

Almost as if called by a whistle only they could hear, (the image of dogs coming to the sound only their sensitive ears could pick up, made the demon chuckle to himself) several women came around the corner and started heading directly towards him. Six turned a walked away from the women, leading them like a piper to the nearest stable he could find. They were nothing more then animals after all, what did they expect?

As they walked into the stable, Six waved his hand towards the group (about 9 in total) and as if planned out in advance they all started removing their clothes. There were women of all shapes, some had huge breasts that sagged slightly from the weight, others breasts so small it almost seemed a shame to call them "breasts". It didn't matter to Six though. The fact that so many women in the immediate area were susceptible to his weakest of suggestions made him very happy.

He grabbed the nearest woman, a girl really just barely over 18 and sucked one of her firm breasts into his mouth. His tongue circling her nipple, which was hardening quickly. His other hand reached out behind her and then there was a gasp from a woman slightly rounded, with amble cleavage, who had just managed to get her undergarments off before Six's hand found her inner thigh. Caressing it before moving up to between her legs, the demon took in all the energy the women were giving off.

As their sexual arousal grew so did the energy he was able to consume. Before long he had two fingers inside the portly woman and the teen was begging him to suck her other breast. Things were moving along very smoothly. As the two women enjoyed his touches the others began to moan their interests as well. Stepping back from his first companion, Six simply stated, "Off." and all remaining clothing was gone. He laid down in the hay and watched as the women practically fought to be with him. Two quickly settled themselves over each hand and were moaning loudly within seconds. His fingers disappearing deep inside them as another woman (the teen from before he noticed) slid herself down on his engorged member.

With all the energy in the room it was easy for Israfil to plan the suggestion the those who couldn't find a place near him now should keep each other company and ready for later. Before he'd done anything else Israfil closed his eyes and chanted softly, keeping the image of the Fae in his mind. As he opened his eyes the image super imposed its self on top of the woman before him. He smiled and beckoned her to him. At first it seemed that she wouldn't be moving, then slowly she stepped forward. She blinked her eyes and for a second the image of Wish was replaced with how the girl really looked. Free of his spell, she ran. Unfortunately she ran to the back yard, which was completely fenced in and not visible from the streets.

In the stable's yard there wasn't much to hide behind. So she ran to the giant rock that no one had been able to lift out of the earth. He followed, no longer afraid she might alert others near by. As she stepped around the boulder, Six silently stepped around the other side. She caught her breath and as she did he imposed the image of Wish upon the girl again. And with that slid around her so that his body was pressing against her's. She'd be able to feel the slightest movement of any organ if he stood just a little closer. As it was she could already feel his member swinging against her leg.

His hand went to her thigh and her rubbed. At first all the girl did was whimper, but after a few seconds it became an aroused moan. He left his hand on her thigh as a contact point for the spell. Hearing Brina call out to him as he disappeared into the dark caused him to smile but he didn't respond. Though he was unseen in the shadows of the forest he could see the 2 women near the fire and the peaceful sight warmed him inside. The sight of his wife in sleep always soothed his soul. However he didn't let himself become so caught up in her slumbering beauty that he forgot his duty. And after looking upon her for a few moments he went back to his patrol.

Another hour passed and he leaned back against a tree, removing his flask and uncovering it. Just as he took a drink he heard a gentle voice speak to him though the direction of its origin was unknown.

"I still cannot understand how you stomach that liquid, priest."

At first Alexien was startled, nearly choking on his whiskey. But quickly he recognized the voice. It was the soothing tone of Ju`Rai the elder mystic. The man was nearly a century old and had been a dear friend to him as well as his father and his grandfather. A long standing member of the order Ju`Rai had always been there for the priest, often taking his side whenever Alexien disagreed with the high council. At first he didn't know how he was hearing the Yoruba shaman -- but then he recalled that Ju`Rai had long since mastered astral projection. He just never knew the shaman was powerful enough to cross entire realms.

"You nearly startled the soul out of me Ju`Rai. Oh mercy...hah. It's good to hear your voice. How are you?"

Slowly the wisp like shroud of a small short african man appeared before him, standing with its eyes open and completely white showing that it was indeed a projection of his spirit. The old man smiled and spoke once again.

"Oh I am old and tired priest. But the Gods have not yet seen fit to take me home so..I wait. I felt a bit of despair earlier and I knew it could only have come from you. None bear the weight of responsibility as heavily as you christians. What troubles you, priest?"

Alexien sighed and took another drink of whiskey before covering the flask and slipping it away. Pushing off the tree he began walking, and the wisp followed along side him, seeming to hover an inch or so off the ground. "Nothing I can change, Ju`Rai. I've been in exile from the order for over four years. Elizabeth is dead. I keep trying to change things...to make a better life for my wife and myself. But I often feel like I'm in a hole that no matter what I do...I cannot dig myself out. I fear I'm losing faith Ju`Rai. Not in the mission...just in my ability to complete it."

The shaman drew in a slow breath and nodded before replying to him. "The path we have been destined to walk is far from a simple one, priest. It was not easy for your grandfather...or your father. And now that you act alone the path is now even more difficult for you. I knew of Elizabeth's passing. We all did. We mourned her for three days. Myself and quite a few others arranged for her memorium in the hall of great sacrifice. She was beloved and she will be missed."

Alexien nodded and sighed, but before he could become too melancholy the shaman was speaking again. "However, her passing was natural. She did not fall the way many of us do. With blood...fear...pain. It was the will of the Gods that she ascend, and for her the struggle is over. She is with your parents now and I believe she is happy there. Do not suffer for her...she would not want you to." Again Alexien nodded while pausing in his steps and looking up at the moon.

"I miss them Ju`Rai. All of them. My family...my friends...being part of order. At least when I was there it felt like there was a chance we could change things. That we could make the world better. But now...it's just Brina and I. We're strong, we're capable..but there is only us. If I fall than so be it..I am a knight. In the eyes of God though I am valuable..I am expendable. But Brina...she is not expendable. Every time we meet our enemy I fear for her..I fear for..."

The shaman stepped in front of Alexien and looked directly at him, halting any further statement that he was going to make. "Brina is a strong magi. She is powerful, intelligent, and quite capable. You love her so much...than love her enough to trust in her judgment. And I am also sure that she does not share your views. She does not think you are expendable..and it is contrary to her love for you to believe you are. A knight you may be but your life has value. More so than you may ever understand. Yes, you and she are alone now. Alone in a foreign world, confronting unknown evils. But..perhaps that was the Gods plan for you both. Perhaps this world is in need of protectors..and as far as I am concerned no two better people could have been chosen than you and she. Your faith, your training, your skills..they will help you much. But the love you two feel...not just for each other but for the world and the people in it, it will make you strong when you should be weak. It will force you to stand when fate demands that you fall. You are not just some priest with a sword. And she is not just some magi with a staff. You are Alexien and Brina Kincade. Father and Mage of the Grand Order, keepers of the flame. When all light begins to fade and the darkness closes in...it shall be the two of you who proclaim, -let there be light-."

The priest smiled and nodded before taking a deep breath and exhaling. Ju`Rai knew exactly what he needed to hear -- he always seemed to know. "I promise we shall talk more later. For now I must return to the shrine. I will pray to the Gods to keep you both in their hands. Do not let yourself be weighed down by doubt, Alexien. Until we are dead there is always a chance for us to change things. And the two of you have much life left inside you. Be well priest, and give Brina all my best."

Alexien smiled once more and bowed softly to his friend as the wisp slowly vanished into the air. Shortly there after the sun was rising, and with it Alexien heard a series of groans and soft moans coming from nearby the fire. With the dawn approaching his patrol was no longer necessary, and as he came by the fire he emerged from the woods and saw Wish writhing slightly as she slept. At first he thought she was simply having a provocative dream..but then there was a near palpable aura surrounding the area. Somehow he knew without really knowing that it wasn't just some erotic fantasy. He approached and the girl from the outlining trees as she stood up and began to walk around, and when she said they would need to return to town he spoke out from behind her...

"Yes we do. If he is already beginning to enter your dreams than we must act quickly. As capable as you might be here...you are still vulnerable in your dreams. The next time will be harder for you to awaken from." The way he spoke and looked at her showed he took the matter very seriously. There was no time for being flustered or upset. Though he did crack a grin. When the girl had stood from the ground and then bent over to remove her bandages, the dress she had begun to raise as her hand caressed her thigh during her dream had left her backside somewhat....bared. "You may want to cover your arse before we depart though..it may draw more unwanted attention than you already have."

Laughing softly he looked toward his wife as the rain started to fall. "...And that's why pants are so invaluable."
