And the mysterious Fae who she rushed in to her aide was not alone. Alongside of her stood a robed man who had a sword drawn. Together, the two stood in the middle between Wish and her assailant. Her visitors did not flinch or back away from the demon; instead they stood their ground, on the defensive and ready to act should the demon try anything else.
The other Fae and the man spoke, but Wish could barely recognize their words. Their voices were almost muddled, as if their speech was being suffocated by a pillow and straining to understand only proved to further bring pain to Wish's head. She clenched her eyes tight for a few seconds and in this blackness, she heard the demon speak, the voice involuntarily making her shudder.
The demon talked for a while and Wish found herself hopelessly wondering if the beast was actually working with the two who surrounded her. She found herself thinking, Go away, go away, repeatedly as if the chant in her mind would actually work. Then at long last, she heard the heavy footsteps of the demon heading towards the door. He was leaving? Wish wrenched her eyelids open, her olive green eyes peering towards the door with much effort. The demon was going away from Foresight's... and he was now a naked man...? Boy, she had sure missed a lot.
Wish felt the blood from her forehead running onto her cheeks and wanted so badly to wipe it away and clean herself off, but her arms would just not allow her too. For the most part, her body resolved not to work with her or move and she was sure one of her legs had been broken in the fall down the stairs. Instead, she just felt terrible aches and pains running throughout her body, the only unwelcoming sign that made her realize she was still alive.
While Israfil would start to exit Foresight's, the panic in Wish's head had escalated. Who were these people near her? What if they wanted to kill her also? Was there a market for Fae blood in Aleris, because the demon seemed damn intent on draining hers. Nevertheless, she found her cracked and bruised lips parting, a mere whimper of a plea coming from them.
"Please, don't... leave me..."
