So I'm sure I'm not the only person who ever thinks this way (hopefully!), but whenever I play video games I usually imagine what it would be like if I were in the dungeon/level that I'm currently playing instead of the main character of the game. Like, could you imagine your reaction to seeing moving platforms, giant walking mushrooms, robotic creatures trying to kill you, etc? Well, that was my inspiration for this Writing Challenge!

The premise is that your character wakes up on one of the specified levels/games below. Write your character's journey through that level and how they get through it. This could be amusing! Don't take the easy way through it; write like it actually poses some challenge getting through and show your character's reactions to the strange environments they're in. How do they defeat the end boss if there is one at all? If you are familiar with the games, you can use any weapons/items that the game character would have had at that time. For example: if you know in the game the character gets a boomerang before entering a castle, feel free to use it.

Basic rules:

• Progress your character through your chosen level. Use any weapons, obstacles, enemies, etc that the game provides in your post. Write how they conquer the end boss. Your post will also be judged on your character's reaction to the environment they are in. Be creative! Don't just breeze through it.
• Your post must be at least 1500 words. It can be broken up into multiple posts or one post.
• Any posts submitted after 08.04.2012 will not be accepted. That gives us a little over three weeks for this challenge.
• You may start your storyline in the forum Nowhere Land. Please reply to this post with a link to it.
