She smirked then as she looked at Kyrian once more. Babysit indeed! She'd take the boy to Siren's Corner first chance she got! HA!

Oh, and a question! Is there a particular rule about posting in more than one thread? I understand that realisitically, it's impossible to be in two places at once. :)

There's no ruling. :) I do think this is one of those "use your best judgement" type of things. For example, some storylines happen months or weeks apart, so technically you have to think if it makes sense that your character could be in both. For example, whatever is in storyline A does it effect anything that would happen in storyline B? If the storylines are happening at the same time though, I don't believe that would work out.

Right, thanks. I'll probably try to avoid it, if I can.

I just make a plethora of different characters so I don't need to worry about being in multiple places at the same time.

In the realm wide storyline, I had a ton of characters (I actually have a list here so I don't forget: Djarin, Astarl, Fingers, Jelaephon Delai/Blend, Ternal, Aliscowri, Maestro Carlain, Ail, Jaster, Uskul, Iltorians, Septorians, Guardian of Chaos)... That puts the count at 13 chars in just one storyline haha. And some of those like the Aliscowri or Iltorians are entire groups with undeveloped sub-characters.

I'm already up to eight characters in my "The Darkness" storyline, and I know that's just the tip of the iceberg.

"That night, Eurynomos dreamed of animals. Animals he'd never seen before.
He dreamed of tigers fighting spiders. He dreamed an eagle screamed and struck down the sun.
His mind drew pictures of wolves hunting bears, of machines in chaotic landscapes,
of gods weeping and laughing in merriment as the animals played their primal games."

I'll give you an example Madrin started posting in Arthuran gametime months before the eternal lake cracked open after the temperature began to change. In realtime the realm wide storyline was well past it. So no worries fit yourself in how you like just consider time frame. You don't need multiple characters but, Eliskan is a good example of how to do that.

Ok, great. Just checking; I've been part of some roleplaying sites that had guidelines regarding multiple threads, and some that didn't have any at all. :D I might create another character at some point, but for now I plan to keep it simple.

I need to make a post as promised, I know, but I am really thinking about the antagonistic approach since that seems like the funnest. I see two worshipers of Aurora hanging out peacefully and I just need to stir things up..

I will work on an idea soon and toss in my creativity. I have some concepts brewing, but I'm not sure if Tempesturo would be happy with them... Really I am impressed with what you posted Evenstar, and Cerridwen is always nice to read or RP with :)

Multiple characters are distracting to some people, but I'm finding the best novels are able to perceive all characters from a realistic perspective. My characters attempt to serve a purpose to the plot, even though they're distinctly separate and driven by different desires. That's what I'm trying to practice in the role-playing here, before I sink my teeth into a larger project such as a book.

Oh well... Thanks for the compliment!

I'm trying to develop her character as much as I can.. and it seems to mostly be emerging through posts. I've juggled several characters at once before, but I'm holding off for now.

I'm sure both myself and Cerridwen would welcome some 'stirring up' from Aurora! But the chill path is fine too. ;)
