Just finished Rock & Rule, pretty good film.

The film is about a future in which nuclear war has wiped out humanity, leaving behind the 'street animals'; cats, rats, and dogs. Centuries later these animals have evolved into anthropomorphic mutants, creating a new society in the ruins of man's ancient cities, renaming them things like Ohmtown and Nuke York. Our heroes are members of a struggling band, the rebellious Omar, his gentler counterpart Angel, as well as Dizzy (on drums) and Stretch (bass). Omar and Angel have a disagreement on who should be lead vocalist which is threatening to split the group, and it doesn't help that Angel is propositioned by international rockstar Mok. However, as Omar tries to investigate Mok to get his girl back he discovers the real reason Angel has been auditioned. Her voice is the missing component of a diabolic ritual Mok has devised to raise a demon and rule the world.

Something similar to the animation style would be the Heavy Metal animated film.

I want to see Sucker Punch and Insidious. Also looking forward to just about any comic movie. I may not go see them in the theater but I'll most likely pick them up on dvd, just to add to the collection.

I'm seriously tired of 'origin' plot comic movies. Cant we just have a movie that dives in headfirst and doesnt have to explain 'how they came to be' for the first hour? Meh..
