Attention Alerians! Word from Grand City's Palace is that it has withstood the force of the tidal waves. What does this mean for you? King Alerion is starting to send out fleets of small boats to transport people to the castles. Since the castle was built against a hill, only the first floor received some flooding so the second to fourth floors will be opened up for us stranded city folk should you wish to take refuge in the castle until the waters recede into the ocean.
And don't worry, there's plenty of room for all. If you haven't ever toured the castle, it is much bigger than you expect.
Layla Victoire, the leader of Bariston in Elved, is trying to manage the same good will gesture, although unfortunately she cannot house as many people in her mansion as Alerion can in his castle. So if you're being taken to Lady Victoire's home, while it may be crowded, I would seize the opportunity. It sure beats waiting around in this god, awful sun anyway.
