For this contest, which is not really about pirates, but sort of related, we're going to rename and improve Aleris' money system. It's been years and we've always used gold, which is fine, but we're fantasy! Let's get creative and have something unique to Aleris. I always said that Aleris is nothing without it's wonderful, awesome players, and I want you all to have a hand in creating it. Sound good? Looking forward to joining? Here are the rules:
- Contest entries must be received by September 12, 2014. Any entries after that will not be accepted. After September 12, voting will be put up and we'll all vote for the best entries.
- Please PM me your entry. Don't post them here.
- You may enter up to three times.
- Submit between three to four different coin names. My plan is instead of having one form of currency, we'll have at least three - one value being higher than the other. Don't worry about the conversions.
- Be creative! Along with your coin name, submit at least three sentences or more about the coin. Describe it or how it got it's name. For example, does it have a picture of Aurora on it or was it named after a random knight who saved a kitten in a tree.
- Along with creativity, try to keep the names semi-realistic. lol For example, don't call your coin 'bumblefuckpenny'. I'm okay with silly, but not that silly.
Winnings:
- Get a special award badge for a character of yours! This badge will be unique and will most likely never be repeated.
- There may be some additional winnings, but I haven't decided yet.
