Hey everyone,

If you're reading this message, I'm sure you've already taken notice of Aleris' new layout! It's been almost three years since we've had a new layout, so personally, I'm super excited to have something fresh and new. Also, I must apologize for the delay on the new layout. I think I promised something new about a year ago. I don't have any real excuses except that I was busy and I kept changing my mind about the layout design.

But anyway, it's here! The layout is mostly finished, though there are a few bugs to work out and I need to apply the layout to the actual site side of things. And another bonus!

It's mobile friendly! You can access the forum from your phone or tablet and it should be pretty awesome. Please keep in mind, I've only actually looked at it on a Samsung Galaxy S3, so if you use an iPhone or whatever else and notice issues, I would be grateful if you'd let me know.

So what's next? In the near future, I'll be making some additional updates to Aleris including:

• Forum layout upgrades for desktop and mobile
• Applying the layout to the rest of the site
• Changing the signature size dimensions (I'm sorry, but some signatures are way to tall for the forum!)
• Fixing the Executioner's Block (styling was lost with the new layout)
• Fixing the font size for BBCode
• Adding more informational updates like setting updates
• MOOOREEE (sorry, I can't remember everything right now)

With all that being said, if you all notice any bugs with the new layout, let me know here. I hope you all like the new layout as much as I enjoyed (aka struggled over) finishing. lol

Part two of Aleris updates are up! Over the weekend, I've made the following changes:

• Applied the layout to the rest of the site. Also went through and cleaned up a bunch of old information.
• Changed the signature size dimensions. The images you use in your signatures can now only be 300px high. Width doesn't matter since the forum resizes them. If your signature image is higher than 300px, I will be taking it down. Sorry! Do note that the height restriction only applies for the image in your signature. However, if you spam your signature with lots of junk, I'll be forced to clean it up.
• Increased size of avatars. They can now be up to 190px x 190px.
• Updated topic icons. No more junky images on a white background from a style I never finished.
