Here are some of my favorites:
Ginger Snaps - It's in the realm of B horror movies, but it's actually a really good werewolf movie. It's one of those rare horror movies that has a tragic ending and you feel sad for the main character in the end. Plus the whole story revolves around the relationship/bond between two sisters and it has a lot of awesome jokes about like... menstrual cycles and stuff.

Ravenous - This is the movie that made me fall in love with Guy Pearce. But seriously, it's a movie about cannibalism with banjo chase scene music. It also has one of my all time favorite scenes in a movie where Guy Pearce jumps off a cliff and you see him roll down a hill for about three minutes or something. It also has a really good end fight.
Cabin Fever - Just because Eli Roth is the man (not to mention I think he is a bit of a sick individual). Also, it has the best gross out scene ever which involves a girl shaving her legs and her skin falling off. Makes me cringe every freaking time.
Jeepers Creepers - Okay, it's not great, but the thing I like about it is that half the movie in the beginning takes place during the day, which is sort of unusual for horror. I think it still achieves its creepiness factor even with taking place mostly during the day.
The Faculty - Pretty much because of Robert Patrick. He scared me enough as the T-1000 in Terminator 2 and then they made him the gym teacher in this movie.

Gotta give a shout out to little Gage from Pet Cemetery. That's one creepy little kid. NO FAIR! NO FAIR! NO FAIR!
Audition. UGH! Beware of the quiet, sweet little Japanese girls. They're the ones that love to turn poor stupid lonely men into human pincushions.
The Ring. Another creepy little kid, actually two of them. Saw the movie once. Once was enough for me.
Stephen King's It. Yeah yeah, I know. Not really scary, but damned if Pennywise didn't scar me for life. Death to all clowns!

The Ring! I forgot about that. I think the end of the movie creeped me out the most. Cut for spoilers -

It was really good and yes, Tim Curry did a great job as the clown, but the ending was just like, "Come on. Really? That's how they kill him?" Also, I don't know if you noticed or not, but the girl who plays Brigitte in Ginger Snaps (Emily Perkins), plays the younger version of Beverly in It.

I couldn't watch Pet Cemetery before, and now that I have Odin it's impossible. I can't stand seeing the kid hit by that truck.
I love IT. Nuf Said.
Not really a horror movie, but I liked Identity. It was more of a thriller I guess.
Also Frailty was a good one.
Been watching a lot of b horror movies lately. Army of Darkness, Evil Dead, Always great movies. Also Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Saw the pilot episode of American Ghost Story the other day on FX. That was pretty good.
