Bariston, the capital city of Elved, is still in a state of reconstruction since the attack a few months ago. Though Layla Victoire is trying her hardest to restore her industrial and yet beautiful city, there are the occasional thieves that look for easy openings during a city's time of weakness. Unfortunately, you have been mistaken (or maybe not...) for one of these thieves and thrown in Elved's jail. The jail is an expansive system of narrow stone twists and turns, hidden beneath the surface of Bariston where no sunlight can touch it. Your weapons have been taken and it is rumored that all sorts of nasty monsters lurk about. Your goal: find a way out of Bariston's prison... alive.

Some information about this event:

• Though the event takes place 07.15 - 07.17, it will only span one day IC. We wanted to set the event up like this to give everyone a chance to be there. There should be at least one GM present each night.
• The event will be held in our chat room #Aleris on the Sorcery.net irc server.
• We will be giving out prizes! After the event is over, we will be voting on who was the most creative (or humorous) during the escape.

The general Q&A:

• Q: My character is nowhere near Elved!
  A: No worries! Remember that in RP (at least in Aleris) we have creative freedom. Not everything needs to be linear. Although this event happens a few months after the destruction of Bariston, you can adjust as needed. Perhaps your character was thrown into prison before this event or after. Be creative!
• Q: But... my character is tied up in a storyline and getting ready to sacrifice three baby goats.
  A: See the answer to the question above and remember... you need not use the same character. Create a new one or feel free to NPC! Worried about not getting a prize for an NPC character? We will give the prize to a character of your choosing.
• Q: I can't be there Monday, but I can be there Tuesday and Wednesday. Is that okay?
  A: Of course. Hop on in. Remember, it's up to you how you got into this sticky situation.
