That hearts are a-breakin’ all over the place! Well, at least here and there. Recently a notice was placed in the Chronicle Personals by Mr. Morlis Desiderio stating he intended to divorce his wife of several years if she did not respond in a timely manner. That in and of itself is not necessarily gossip worthy, but the fact that he is blaming the break up on yet another wife, who was apparently married to them both, makes this whole situation a bit more interesting.

Not to mention, the third part of this little drama has shown up right here in Aleris. Jezika Fehr, the woman who recently took her murdered sister to be interred at the temple of Larisa is the ex wife in question and even better yet? Rumor has it she has no idea her ex husband is even in Aleris! Though rumor has it she has been wasting no time in attempting to drink her cares away as she was spotted in a local tavern last night with a buxom wench on her lap and a drink in her hand. Well, several drinks actually.

And it gets better boys and girls! Rumor also has it that her daughter, who until recently I hear thought Mr. Desiderio was her Father, has just arrived in Aleris herself and was seen having a knock down drag out screaming match on the streets of Aleris just this morning! Perhaps we should get these ladies some baby oil and string bikinis and make a buck! Just what the beef is between mother and daughter isn’t entirely clear but you can bet that it has something to do with the man in the middle.

Speaking of the man in the middle, rumor has it he is the mystery man who has been seen coming and going from Alidia Rylands suites in the palace at least two or three times a week not to mention he has recently established a residence here for his family, including his other wife and concubines! How the man finds the time to sleep or has any energy to walk is beyond me, but he certainly does seem to be popular.

Things have been strangely quiet from the Redmont camp, the unusual quadrangle hasn’t been spotted publicly in almost a week. Either they’ve all become hermits or they have been keeping a low profile to avoid notice. Could my little article have something to do with that? Don’t be shy! We don’t bite. Anyway, rumor has it the warring camps are gearing up for something big but no one seems to know what and the misguided Miss Strata has been eerily absent. I can only hope she heeded my advice and left town.


No one knows what’s coming. It’s the calm before the storm, boys and girls, but until the storm hits…
