A promise.
Maiwen and Verial had been long overdue for a visit. They had not seen each other for a while and though there were no barriers to keep the siblings apart, each had been involved in their own affairs. However, time had finally allowed both of them to breathe and as such, Maiwen sought her way to Verial's cottage. The two traveled a few feet away from Verial's home, to speak in private since Verial's cottage was also now shared with Aursra and Mycha.
Verial stopped near a tree just outside the woods surrounding the Villa and leaned his back and raven feathered wings against it. Since Maiwen had returned, he noticed there was something different about her. The way she moved and composed herself, she no longer seemed the frightful and innocent child she once was. There was definitely something, however, that made Maiwen hesitant. It was this pause and awkwardness that made Verial anxious about what she had to say.
Both had many things to tell each other, but the question about whether they really wanted to talk or not was definitely there as well. Nevertheless, Verial smiled softly and welcoming at Maiwen.
"I am glad you came back to visit," Verial started keeping his odd colored eyes steady on her. "Tell me, what is it you wanted to talk to me about? There's probably so much left unsaid between us."
