...That life is not as happy as it should be in the land of Aleris. No wonder really, what with the attack on the Palace and all which has subsequently made Maxim Redmont Public Enemy #1. The hue and cry is being raised amongst the average citizens, calling for his head on a pike! Let me play devil's advocate for a minute though...do we have any proof it was Maxim Redmont? Only one person survived the attack and they wouldn't know if the attacker was lying. Considering he was there to slaughter them all I doubt he would have felt any compunction in lying about his identity! Or do we just string him up without a trial?

Incidentally, yours truly also encountered none other than Lumine Ravenholm on the very same evening as the attack on the Palace. Coincidence? Somehow I doubt it, though it can not be denied that he was in fact in my presence when the attack on the palace was taking place. This provides an alibi for his whereabouts but as far as I am concerned, not for his involvement. Not that he gave me any reason to doubt him. He was quite charming in fact and luckily he didn't seem pissy about my last article. Either that or he fakes it really well. He certainly has a deep and abiding hatred of Maxim Redmont, however, so if you are reading this Maxim I'd watch your back if I were you. Not only are you the foremost fugitive in Aleris but Lumine seems as if he wants to bend you over and make you his prison bitch. Might want to invest in some form of lubricant.
