In time King Alerion realized there were certain points in his realm where the veil between the dimensions was thinning and scientists and mages soon realized this temporal disturbance would allow inter-dimensional Gateways to be established and one of the very first to emerge was the Outer Gate of Eternelle Lune, the Imperial City of the Eternal Empire.

As such an event would only be possible should King Alerion make contact with the Empress Duvessa and Emperor Astynax of the Eternal Empire it was largely assumed that is exactly what happened though the actual events that lead up to the appearance of the Outer Gate of Eternelle Lune are unknown to virtually all within both realms. The Empress rarely explains her actions and so it was that one day on the border separating the Northern Lands of Elysia from the Southern Lands of Tempesturo a glimmer of opalescent light appeared. Small at first it grew into a large glowing oval that hung suspended in time and place, the brilliance of the light growing until the force of it shone for several acres around it.

For days the light from the infant portal saturated the land with no other unusual activity which led those who happened to come across it (and those were few and far between as the Northern and Southern lands are not very hospitable) to believe that was all that would appear. Then, after six full days of the mysterious portal surveying the land, and that truly seemed to be what it was doing, on the seventh day the portal opened. Green, yellow, and purple glowing tendrils of energy emerged from the portal to swarm over the land like sentient vines until they covered every inch of land that had been touched by the light from the portal which had grown to encompass several miles in all directions with the portal acting as the centrifugal point.

Moving swiftly they covered the land in a tangling mass of multi-colored energy, the energy of creation, until they hit the barrier established by the light of the portal but the power tentacles did not stop there. They continued to grow up into thin air as if climbing an invisible wall until the entire area was surrounded by this phenomena, the interior completely hidden from view.

At midnight on the seventh day the power tentacles began to recede, crawling back the same way they had come, retreating into the glowing white portal to reveal behind them a lavish compound that had not been there only hours before.

The Outer Gate of Eternelle Lune had been established, the Eternal Embassy there to act as Embassy for denizens of the Eternal Empire in Aleris and for those citizens of Aleris who wished to pass into Eternelle Lune, the Eternal Empire's Imperial City. It would also act as the place of residence for the Imperial Family and the Ambassadorial Party sent to live and work for the benefit of the Eternal Empire within the realm of Aleris.
