It seems that Verial Akilara's mother, Sorvynia Dreamer, has also stepped into the equation. We're not sure if she's over protective of her son or perhaps she's looking for some drama, but we do know that Sorvynia has already notified Layla of Verial's numerous lady friends. Suffice to say, the Lady of Bariston did not take this news happily and is trying to teach Verial a lesson by not sleeping with him for who knows how long.
Maxim Redmont on the other hand is taking his loss at Layla Victoire's heart with little to no effect. It turns out that Maxim's lovely man is indeed a woman and that she has tamed the beast within. Which is a shame, because I was thinking about asking Maxim Redmont out for a date. If you change your mind Maxim, feel free to look me up!
Madrin Kir, on the other hand, was effected by losing Lady Victoire's heart. He was last seen taking a ship back to Chaliceton which I'm guessing to escape his depression. What better place to do it than in Arthuran's snow covered town. However, it was reported that he was seen getting on a ship with healer Wish Star, previous companion of Victor Sage. Miss Star was not seen with Victor Sage. Some say she found out he was really a rapist when employed at The Oak Barrel Tavern and that she ditched his ass first chance she got. Don't worry, Madrin. There might be a full body, healing massage in your near future from a spunky, little fae.
Now, let's talk about werewolves. Remember that awful, smelling brute running around with a young fairy I talked about last time in the paper? We found out his name is Melvin and that his little friend is named Itarilde. Fortunately, his plans were only noble - that he was just trying to get the fairy back to her home. Since Melvin and Itarilde have gotten back, he's settled into her family's home, although some of them try to understandably keep their distance. Itarilde's family may need to be accustomed to his bizarre musk as we're hearing wedding bells in the future for this unlikely duo.
In other news, a Vandual man was the recent recipient of a vampire attack. Eye witness says that assault was led by one of Vandual's temporary residents, Camille Lexus. In Camille's defense, a woman stepped forth and said that Camille was only trying to protect her from the man, that he had every intention of beating her and taking her money. Nevertheless, we're of the belief that Camille didn't need to rip the man's throat out. But that's what happens when your female vampires go vegetarian and it's that time of the month. Let's just say that it's a bad combination, folks.
While Heruin's natives are trying to return to their desert homes, newcomers Ameerah Sultan and Valorius Malku have taken to purchasing numerous parcels of land before people can settle back in. So far, they've bought an entire island. Some people even say that they're using this land to make and then distribute the strange drug that's going around called "Soul Ease". It's either that or they're trying to compete with the harem Isabella Redmont was making in Arthuran (which seems to have been abandoned anyway).
