celebrating six years of adventures

Our Voices

"Many years ago, the ancient line of Kings who ruled the land of Aleris were both immortal and ageless. There was no definite reason as to why the royal blood of Aleris developed this characteristic of eternal youth. However, it was not without great sacrifice that the Kings obtained their immortality..."

Working quietly she noticed the woman looking at her bracelets. "Oh? My sister gave them to me, I never take them off." She replied softly and put a baindaid on the girls friend stuffed animal. She heard the explaination as to the reason for the bunny and even nodded her head a few times.

"I umm... changed the glass to flowers, the glass was dangerous and people would have gotten hurt stepping upon them." She informed aware it might upset the other girl but she was at least honest. She smiled a little bit at that point before standing up and tilted her head to where it would pop slightly before her arms extend a little bit to balance herself in a graceful unconcious action.

"Whomever your Miss tali is, I hope she knows what she has in you. " She stated quetly and nodded her head as she listened a little bit more. She smiled faintly listening all the more. "No we can't switch names, Leena. But I think you have a cute name and your bunny ears make me smile. I like animals. Can I touch them?" She inquired softly.

The girl rambled on, well hell, she did that too and it was about then she noticed the necklace the girl wore, it was was like a collar of owner ship which oddly rankled Elphlane and then a bracelet on her wrist
. "Are you a pet?" She disacknowledged the questions about her family, her home. She was curious and already thinking of how best to help the girl.

Tenatively she'd also offer her hand.
"Want me to show you around then down to the one abandoned cottage near here?" She inquired softly so not as to offend or disturb the girl. It seemed to her that the other girl needed a friend and as luck would have it. Lanie was lonely and wanted a friend herself beyond her animal friends.

The grey haired bunny girl keeps her eyes on the bracelets until she hears Lanie's explanation of how she got them. She frowns for just a moment before bringing her arm that's not being tended to up, moving a hand to gently scratch at the base of one of her ears before asking her again "... Can I have one?" as her bright smile turns to a hopeful one. Her eyes watch the hand that was applying the band-aid to the bunny and she'd nod approvingly when she does it right... Or at least that's what would probably be assumed.

The smile disapears completely from her face when Lanie mentions turning the glass into flowers and her ears would drop down quickly, pinning against the side of her head as she lets out a very quiet "Oh....". She looks downto the ground, then back up to the other girl as she stands and she asks while still frowning "... Can they be changed back...? I can clean them up...".

She was still upset about the glass, and it showed in her expression, but when Lanie continued, and even gave her a new nickname, she'd smile weakly before saying quietly "Yeah, you can touch them... I like my ears being pet... Miss Tali pets my ears sometimes and it feels really good".

She even tilted her head forward, lifting her ears up just a bit so that they could be pet easier and she murmurs "Yeah... Miss Tali's really nice... She has a lot of friends and she introduces them to me a lot and lets me play with them".

When the hand is offered, all signs of being upset disapear completely and she'd stand up with her and she says with a small smile "Sure... I would really like that" And she'd move to stand next to the girl, completely unaware of her new friend being sensitive about the whole ownership issue, instead she'd hug the bunny close to her chest as she continues to smile at Lanie
