If that wasn't enough, the new Padishah of Heruin has also adopted a mysterious 16 year old girl who's staying at The Caravanserai. Apparently, (and this is all according to word of mouth) the young girl's mother, Discord Ambrose, is a drug-addicted, alcohol-guzzling prostitute who doesn't know who the girl's father and can't manage to take care of her own daughter. Ameerah Sultan has taken it upon herself to take care of this charity case and let the youthful girl know that should she ever need assistance, to contact the Padishah right away. Amazingly, Discord did not end up dead (yet) from Ameerah's hands and we only hope that the girl does not wind up anywhere in the path of Ameerah's daily body count.
The family issues don't just end in Heruin, however!
On Arthuran, Lord Verial Akilara currently has his hands ful with his own family matters. We've heard that his mother appeared and demanded that he drop his position as Lord of Arthuran immediately to return home to make his bed and clean his house. Don't worry though people of Chaliceton. Verial Akilara rejected his mother and sent her away in tears just for you. This is not the end of this little story though. The juiciest bit of news is yet to come!
Round two of Verial Akilara's problems consist of his sister walking in on him and an unknown woman bathing. Now, this might not be a 'problem' for Verial Akilara because word is that his sister and him quite enjoy the company of each other, if you know what I mean. Now what about this woman Verial was in the tub with? We don't know who she is, but some say she left in a fury and went back to the local tavern where she works as a bar tender or whore. Take your pick.
Unfortunately, we cannot talk about Layla Victoire's family issues since well, she has no family to speak of. While the Lady of Bariston is on a mission to rebuild, some say she is trying to find a suitable replacement for her previous handmaiden, Sahar. Recently, two new comers named Brina and Alexien Kincade had made their way into Bariston to assist in helping the wounded. They were approached by Captain Ambrose Pennington who offered the two strangers quarter in... get this... Layla's own bedroom. Now, it could be that Miss Victoire is just playing the nice hostess. The rumor is that she's trying to fill the gap that was left by Sahar and the gap in her lack of love life thanks to Verial Akilara. So when the Lady of Bariston was offering her room, her true intentions were for a night of fun consisting of a three way. My advice to Alexien Kincade: should you take the offer, be careful. Layla Victoire is said to be quite the domineering woman.
In all of the chaos and destruction that has befallen Aleris, the Goddess of Spring, Aurora, has finally chosen a Paladin. The woman's name is Wish Star and she is a fairy who came to Aleris from unknown origins. Word has it though that from the recent abandonment of her lover Victor Sage, Wish is not quite stable enough for the job. In fact, we heard she's quite infatuated with the Lord Commander of Eiler and that she keeps showing up wherever he is to heal his wounds. We also know that she managed to sneak a peek of Madrin's package while he was unconscious several weeks ago. Coincidence? Who knows? In any case, we're hoping that the Goddess of Spring thought wisely about her avatar before choosing a love-sick, unstable fairy.
Recently a mysterious hooded woman has been making her way all across Grand City and back. Despite her efforts to cloak herself in shadow though, reports say this is none other than Sarine, previous Editor in Chief for The Chronicle who now calls herself 'La Sirena'. Her intentions in the city are to transport an unspecified cargo. The only captain looking to take on this task however is the dashing and handsome Gabriel Wolfe. Now, let's sit back and think over the details of the captain of The Megalodon. His last name is Wolfe and he's captain of a ship which is usually out at sea for several months at a time. Pretty young lady comes to ask for his help. Is he going to say no when there's some potential booty involved? Heck no. Once out on sea, you can bet Captain Good Looks and his crew is going to have their way with Sirenia. (Maybe I'm just jealous...)
