"Nahh, s'okay, Revvy. I'll be f--" As soon as Sadia was going to ease Revon's troubled mind, his face hit the floor. Wincing at the fall, she stood up and walk-limped over to her kitty to make sure he was alright. "Hey! We're like.. the clumsiest couple ever." She laughed and did her best to pick him up from the floor, but she failed. So, instead of getting him up, she just sat down with him and pulled him up so that his face was level with her own. "Here. Lemme fix that." Light kisses covered the poor Cat-kin's face as they sat there, Sadia's hands caressing the sides of his face intimately and affectionately.
She could see the tired look in his eyes. The way he looked at her, the way he breathed, the way he didn't even fight to keep from landing face first on the floor. If there was a way that she could switch places with him, she knew that she would. After kissing his face a million times, she smiled and placed one more soft, gentle, and loving kiss on him lips. "You look so beat. My feet are going to be fine. Why don't you just sleep a while, hmm? I'll cuddle you until you fall asleep." It sounded like a perfect idea to Sadia, but she knew that Revon wouldn't let her off so easily with the feet business. She could just hear him telling her that he wanted to take care of her first, that he didn't want her to feel any pain.
It was the first time in Sadia's life that someone else put her needs before their own. The first time that she ever wanted to be near someone for an extended amount of time... The first time she ever wanted to put someone before herself. Before Revon, her life had been insane and spastic, but ever since his arrival into her life, she'd calmed down. Calmed down so much, in fact, that when she went into places that she'd previously been banned from, the owners of the establishments (mainly bars) didn't even recognize her. It was the first time she ever wanted to look nice and smell nice for someone. The first time she wanted her hair to be just right, even though looking beautiful came naturally.
Her hands left his cheeks and went into his hair to scratch behind his ears. He was everything, so perfectly. "What do you say? Cuddles?" It was also the first time that Sadia every actually WANTED to share a bed with someone other than her mountain of pillows. However, once she mentioned "cuddles," she suddenly remembered the family meeting that was to happen the next day. She should really insist that Revon sleep, but she was very frightened. What if someone crept back into Revon's dreamscape? What if someone was trying to control Revon? Take him away from her? Those pretty green eyes turned cold at the thought, but before she could sink into brooding, she shook her head.
"Kisa said her pendant was missing. Mine is too." She continued scratching the back of his ears as she spoke. "Hmm.. Looks like we have a pendant thief and a dream-rapist." Gold stars all across the board for Sadia! She's SO observant! Nodding her head, she looked back at Revon and half-smiled. She knew he needed sleep and, despite her concerns, she would make sure he did. If there was a way she could occupy his dreams without tapping him, she would, just to make sure no one else entered his beautiful mind.
But who would do such a thing? Who would steal her pendant and tap her lover? Perhaps a fellow succubus that she'd pissed off? One of Revon's past lovers? There were so many possibilities, but none of them made sense. Sadia just hoped that all would be figured out during the family meeting. If anyone knew what to do, it was be dear old Dad.
