So, I've been WAY too absent lately, and I feel like total crap about it. I'm posting this in a last-ditch effort to apologize and to warn you that my absence will continue for at least (but not limited to) the next three months. Someone at work had a severe accident (hospital, surgery, immobilizati...

My music has changed recently. Here's the update: I put all my 80s music into one playlist on my computer and now know that I have 4.5 hours of it. So, since I had the ability, I burned it all onto cd, which now takes up three disk spaces in my 6 cd changer in my car. The other 3 cds (thanks to VJ) ...

I understand getting bored and quitting a page out of sheer lack of participation. It's happened. Look at what happened to MySpace when Facebook came around. The husband (because he knows and loves me) went to a convention in Jersey a few weeks ago. Instead of bringing me back stuff (cause god knows...

“Hey, Khor. What's up?” “Fuck off.” “Seriously? I'm hurt! Is that any way to greet an old friend?” The burnt and shuffling woman who answered by the name of Khory looked at the figure who was walking by her side. He was tall, gangly, and dressed like an idiot. At least, that's what she thought. The ...

Harrisons books really have a lot of humor in them. She is the feisty witchy equivalent to Jim Butchers Dresden. Both cover a lot of mixed paranormal ground, but the main character is a very strong and sarcastic magic user. In fact, there's a mage wandering around Aleris that fits right in there. ;)...

The Martin series has been recommended to me more than once. I am much more inclined to read it than the Game of Thrones stuff. I watched the first episode and was utterly appalled! In one breath I get incest, rape, and child murder? Why is this good? But I digress. Sitchin has also been recommended...

What have you been reading lately? This can include websites, articles, rp stories, or good old-fashioned books. What are you into? What was good? What was awful? I have been on a Terry Pratchett kick. I just burned through I Will Wear Midnight , which is the fourth in what is supposed to be a "...

Khory slogged through the desert, sandstorms pulling at her, tearing at her clothing and skin. What had come out of the sea wet was now impregnated with so much sand that every step dragged with the weight. Bright red hair was no more than a mud caked crust upon her head. Her bearing, once so proud,...

I vote because you ask, but at the same time I never show up for chat so I'm not sure it's fair to skew the vote.
