Born amongst the de Sade pack in New Orleans, Sylvana is the daughter of Robere de Sade and Idhunn. Her mother's last name is unknown as she existed as nothing more then a brood mare for her father. Held captive by the insane garou, he forcibly impregnated her to beget a son with a magical skill he did not possess. What he got was a daughter, a daughter that soon revealed she possessed the amazing skill of cryomancy.

This mattered very little to him and he continued to force himself upon Idhunn until she bore him a son, his daughter nearly forgotten. Idhunn died shortly after her son was born and Sylvana was raised among the scorn and disdain of her father and brother.

Her only allies were Robere's sister's, Arielle and Mirielle. Though they were her Aunts, they were so close in age, and they suffered the same abuse at Robere's as well as their father Guillaume's hands, that they soon became the only allies each had. Until the day Ameerah arrived to free them all. Now she resides within the de Sade pack with Ameerah as her alpha.
