She was born to a pair of loving and devoted parents. Her childhood was in all ways perfect, until the death of her parents when she was in her late teens. It was the death of her parents and her need to go through her parents estate that led to the discovery of a much older brother that had long ago left his parent's house. Her parents had erased the memory of him in their house. Perhaps they meant to tell her about Dominic Ryland someday, but they never got a chance to before their tragic death.

All of a sudden, she found herself unable to remain in her family home. Her parents were comfortably financially, but it was her father's income from writing that kept them afloat. Without being able to provide that kind of income then, Alidia was forced to sell and journey away from her home. The only possession she was able to keep was a locket picture of her parents. She joined with a traveling group of singers, going to various kingdoms and across realms to perform for royalty and high ranking officials. Until they came upon the DeSade Empire.

It was there that she suddenly found the older brother she had learned of after her parents death. Though, whatever she had hoped to find in Dominic was not exactly what he really was. Her brother was a rather blunt, rude and rather uncaring man. Alidia had remained in the Empire to try and form a bond with the only family that she had left, but Dominic was not very receptive. During her time there however, she quickly became friends with the Empire's Princess, Ameerah. She and Meerah became involved, along with Meerah's long time boyfriend Akuma Prism.

So she made her home in the DeSade Empire. Alidia, Meerah and Akuma eventually moved onto other relationships. Alidia married Byron DeSade, and with him had twins, Roman and Camilla. Some years later they divorced. The twins remain with him within Eternelle Lune.

A one night fling with Maxim Redmont years later gifted her with her youngest daughter, Chloe. It was soon after that those she considered her family started to move on away from the DeSade Empire. Alidia eventually began to wander as well. For now, she has made her home in Aleris. Chloe remains with her here in Aleris, and uses her mother's family name of Ryland.
