    Aldwine looks to be a man much older than his 29 winters. A coppery-red beard hangs around his angular and pale face, the pockmarks of a rough life and frostbite scar what little skin shows through. His eyes are keen and grey, constantly alive with a life that seems to be drained from the sallow circles under each lid. His face is lined by strands of burnished red hair, cut short and unprofessionally. A constant slouch makes him look shorter than those around him - and the many furs he wears worn into brown and winter-bleached robes obscure his otherwise ragged form. He walks with an axe strapped to his side, a hide bag slung to his waist, and a slight limp.
