Darius' father had tried getting out of the life of a slayer when he was born. He was still minimally trained as a youngster up to the deaths of his parents. Both will turned into vampires, but not before his father told him to seek out his family. He was seven years old that night and fled from the home. His rage started around this time and during fights it consumed him blinding him to what he did afterwards.

Many years later he would hunt down his parents and kill them along with those that had turned them. His parents ashes had been collected and buried into the soil by their home. Then the manor house was burnt to the ground and he took the first ship he could to the land where his family was rumored to be. He is still young, barely 17, yet he fears nothing in this world.
