We all need companionship at some time or another. The world outside can be cruel and unforgiving, but once you step inside the lavishly crafted building, all your cares are to be left at the door. Whatever your tastes, there is certainly someone for you, just waiting to ease the tensions of life away... for a fee of course. Though not as obvious as the other businesses of Aleris', it isn't incredibly difficult to find. The true test isn't in locating Siren's, but in being able to leave once you arrive.

Post subject: Re: Siren's Corner [Shop]
His first week in Aleris had flown by and he hadn't hardly given the Temple back in Eternelle Lune a thought. He was finding himself glad that he had come to Aleris with Najia. The first couple days were a bit of a struggle since he didn't know his way around too well, but some exploring was helping with that. He caught himself whistling on a few occasions and he couldn't help but grin. A new place, with new things to see and do, he was excited! Amidst all his joking, there was some seriousness below it all.
He was filled with determination to do well for himself. Not only that, but he just needed a change in life. Badly. His beloved sisters death had cut him deeply and bedding the girls at the temple just left an ache within him that couldn't be filled any longer. Najia had found him at a crucial point in his life and becoming friends with her had filled another part of his heart, but he was sure -nothing- would fill the crater Cytara's loss left him with. He and Cytara always had a close-knit bond and when she died, that bond severing left a dark, ugly, crater in his heart that has yet to be filled. Not even his beast could fill it, but the Wolf still was part of him. It grieved as well.
He had been with plenty of the girls at the Temple and while he loved their affections and was sure they loved his, he just hasn't found the one for himself yet. He wasn't in a rush though, and so he would be content with a new harem, new friends,a new home. On his earlier trip to Aleris with his best friend Najia, she had showed him the 'Corner' and its state of disrepair, but he hadn't let that stop him from a night of rutting with the girls. Afterwards, his mind had been made up with some coaxing and coercion from Najia. He would leave the Temple and do his best to make a life here in Aleris.
He had promised to keep in touch with Callidora and those truly important to him, like his mother, Veronique. He hated to part from his beloved mother, but he was a grown man now and couldn't be under his mother's roof the whole of his life. Their parting left him in good spirits, though he still hated to be so far from her should need him. He had clearly told her, if she did need him, she was to summon him.
The first few days in Aleris, after moving here, he had spent it roaming the area to try and learn his way around and to work on meeting some of the locals. Even though it was winter, there was plenty of things to do. He had put in his application for the 'Corner' and to his surprise, he got the job! First thing he did was to write Najia a letter and inform her of his success. And his mother too! He was sure Najia would get the letter since he'd paid the courier well.
Second thing he did over the course of a couple days, was to go to the Corner to have a really good look around the building to check it out. He wanted to see what needed to be repaired, replaced, renovated, and tossed out. As for where he would live, he had decided that he would take up residence in the 'Master's Suite', which would be the top-most floor of the 'Siren'. After he completed renovations on the building of course. He was going to expand it, and if that meant working to get more land, then so be it. Or he'd just add in another floor or two. He intended to have the entire building redone for a grand re-opening.
Plans were getting underway and he had a list of things he wanted to do. First thing was to meet with the girls and so he decided to take care of a few things with them. Before that however, he spoke with one of the girls by herself. After calling Teresa to his office, who he nicknamed 'Tera', he spoke with her at length about the girls in private, asking about how things have been, why Salome left, who had been managing the place, and so forth. To his surprise, they wound up talking for a couple of hours. She told him about the girls health issues, problems with the building, pretty much anything he inquired about and then anything he might have forgotten.
Finally he dismissed her, with a simple task to do. "Within the next hour, I would like all the girls assembled in the parlor, in some old clothing they don't care to get dirty in. We are going to clean and restore this place. I have some plans, but I need everyone's help. So please gather the girls, I will officially introduce myself and we will turn this place around."

While 'Tera' went to get the girls, he moved through lower floors, checking them out. He was pondering on how he was going to renovate the place and also wondering where he would find the labor to do it. He supposed he could put out a flyer, or use some magic to make the repairs, but he didn't want to wear himself out using up too energy. Besides, Charm was his forte, he wasn't an architectural genus. Still, he was working on figuring out how he wanted the place to look.
Eventually he moved upstairs to see what sorts of rooms were up there and he found mostly bedrooms. Since this was to be his new home, he was considering giving himself a nice sized suite. He had left much of his possessions back at the Temple, warding his rooms there against thievery, but he would have to go back for some things. He wasn't too worried about that right now, he had his most important possessions with him.
Moving from one bedroom to the next, he eyed the decor in each and wasn't sure if he wanted to gag or hurl at the sight of some of them. He wasn't entirely sure of the fashions here in Aleris, but he was going to work with making this place stylish as he could. After exploring the bedrooms and entirety of the upstairs, he made his way back downstairs and then looked to see if there might be a basement or cellar. They had wine, and it needed to be stored somewhere, so logic told him there had to be a cellar.
After a search that lasted about five minutes, he finally found an out of the way door down a small hallway and smirked as he found it unlocked. Someone hadn't locked it. That was another thing he was going to resolve, changing out all the locks and making keys for all the doors. He had been given all the keys when he got the job, but he was still going to have the locks changed. These locks appeared fairly simple and he wanted his business secure. Making a note of it in his small notebook, he moved on. Through the door.
Down the stairs he went, a few creaking as he put his weight upon it. Another thing to repair. He noticed the lights were somewhat dim and there was massive amounts of dust down here, but that was soon to remedied. Upon moving to the first shelf where there some bottles covered in dust, he pulled one out and wiped the bottle off to see what it was. It appeared to be labeled as a Dwarven cognac. Arching a brow, he was intrigued and so popped the cork and nearly gagged from the stench of it. It smelled as if it had soured. Closing it, he put it back and then opened a few more bottles. All of them soured and gone to ruin because they hadn't been stored properly.
Disappointed, he continued checking the bottles and to his astonished horror, -every- bottle was ruined. Some had soured, others had become lightdamaged, others had sulfur coming from them. "Bloody hell and Dion's nuts! Who the hell stored this wine down here like this?!" he seethed, disappointed. Being a Satyr, pleasure was his passion, and wine was a delicate thing that had be cared for with the utmost of experience and he was greatly displeased that he would have to toss out all this wine. Najia would squirm and throw a giggle fit to see him in such a tizzy over -wine- and liquors. "Fuuuuuccccccccccckkkkkk!" he growled.
Sighing, he rested his head against one of the shelves and groaned. "What a waste, I can't even do body shots off the girls." he muttered. Straightening himself, he eyed the entire cellar and soon enough found the exit doors and went over to try them. Locked, from the outside. Frowning, he turned and stalked off to go up the stairs and then outside. Moving around the exterior of his new home and business, he found the locked cellar door and fumbled with the ring of keys til he found the proper one. Trying to get the lock opened was frustrating him even more, cause it had frozen shut. "Damnit." he grumbled and stared at the chain and lock for a few moments.
Checking to make sure no one was watching, he closed his eyes and let his beast take over. Grabbing the chain in both hands, he gave a vicious yank on the chains on either side of the lock and strained to weaken the links. Gritting his teeth, he tugged and pulled until the frozen chains snapped. Nearly getting hit in the face, he jerked his head back and then stood there long enough to catch his breath as he calmed himself. His Wolf disliked being shoved back down, but he consoled his Wolf and then finished taking the chain off the cellar door and opened up one of the doors. Descending the few steps into the cellar, he went about the lengthy task of putting the ruined beverages into crates and lugging them outdoors to be disposed of.

How much time had passed, he wasn't certain. His muscles ached though, and not in that relieved way after a work out. They were sore from working down in the cellar. He'd lost track of time to the point Tera had to come find him and remind him he was to speak with the girls. As they made their way outside, he spotted a couple strong lads who looked in need of a bit of coin. After locking the cellar with a spell, he turned to approach the young men, roughly about his own age.
"If you fellows might be interested in a small job, I will pay you for your assistance. I'm the new owner of the 'Corner' and the place is in desperate need of cleaning. You see, I just came from the cellar and I found to my great dismay, all the wine and beverages ruined. Every single bottle. If you will notice, I've cleared some of the bottles out, but there are so many more to be rid of. I have so much to do, I'm unsure where to start. I think being rid of all this ruined booze would be a good start. I'm intending on stocking up on fresh beverages, the finest there is." he explained
"If you come tomorrow morning, say around mid-morning, I will pay each of you to clear out the remaining bottles and remove anything else we find in need of removal. I'm still learning where things are, like where to dump trash, who picks up the trash, such things of that sort. I'm new to town, so -everything- and everyone is new to me." He bowed his head slightly and introduced himself. "I am Seterios. I will expect you to be here on time of course if you accept my offer. If you have other plans, I hope I haven't intruded upon them." the Satyr said politely.
The young men, one with golden hair, which was somewhat wavy, the other with flaming red, whose was shoulder-length and wildly layered, looked to each other. A brief discussion ensued between the boys in hushed whispers and he learned their names were Tyrelle and Tristan. Tyrelle was the red-head, Tristan the golden-haired. Both were strikingly handsome, but it seemed Tristan was either in need of a shave or trying to grow out his facial hair. The Satyr inwardly grinned to himself. Perhaps his evening would be fortunate.
"We'll be here come the morning, Sir." They promised. With all the chaos going on, keeping busy would be a good way to keep out of trouble. To his luck, they didn't have plans and promised to be there come the morning. "I will see you then. Good evening, gentlemen." Turning to Tera, he pressed his left hand to her lower back and escorted her back inside. Along the way, he realized he was covered in dust and snowflakes, so brushed off as much of it as he could before making his way inside once more.
Finger-combing his hair once he was inside and the door was shut, he ventured into the parlor and sat on one of the wooden chairs that at a table near the hearth. Along the way he couldn't get the visions of those young men out of his mind. -Scrumptious- looking they were. Curbing his naughty thoughts, he settled into the hearth-side chair. With his notebook in hand, he looked from one woman to the next and even the few young men, secretly taking count of how many there were. Presently, twenty girls, and just a few men were employed at the 'Corner'. Most likely there was no where else for the men to make a life if they weren't straight. Flipping to a clean page, he took the pencil up behind his left ear and then began to jot some things down.
Maybe he was backwards, who knows, but he wrote with his left hand, he always had. "Ladies, and gentlemen, I am your new employer, as some of you have guessed already." he began. "I am Seterios, and I have come from another realm to make a life here. I have lived my whole life in a temple where people worshiped a deity of pleasure. It is the ultimate height of hedonism. All of one's pleasures can be found there." He knew that would intrigue them.
"Pleasure is my life, I live for and crave it." he admitted. "From the simple pleasure of a smile, or to the delightful music of laughter." he continued. "Pleasure is what I live for and I shall provide it not only for you, but for others. We here at the Siren will strive to meet all the pleasures of our clientele and do so discreetly."
The soft giggles of some of the girls and even from a couple of the men made him smile.
"I will not only be your boss, but I will be a confidant, your friend, your protector, maybe even take you to my bed, for I will be savoring the delights of your pleasures and bestow upon you gifts and the desires of your heart so long as I am able. I now call you all -mine-, for as long as you are employed here, and even long after, you will be 'mine'. I do not believe in slavery, and you shall not be owned. Each of you will be paid." he promised. "I will have you all know that it is a great priviledge to be one of my mine." he said while pondering all the things he still had to tell them.
"Now, I shall tell you a secret and I want none of you to be afraid. I think I should warn you so you are not afraid if you see me different." Some of their eyes widened. "Nor are you to tell others of this. You all must promise. Just as I will protect you, I need your protection too." he said, looking to each of them. "I am a Satyr and Wolf hybrid, mostly I will be in this form, as you see me now. I may at times take my other form, but I shall strive to not harm any of you. That is one of my vows, for I do not believe in harming anyone unless it is necessary." Since he was tri-sexual, he tried to have a deep respect for both genders.
His fingers still trailed through Lily's hair as he watched each of them, gauging their reactions. There was a gamut running between surprise and fascination. "I'll answer your questions later, dears, but right now, we must discuss some more things." Hopefully they wouldn't be too overly upset about this first little bit of business. "I have discovered in the cellar that all our beverages have gone to ruin. We have -no- wine. Nor will we have any until the shipment gets here that I sent for. I sent a letter back home to ask my beloved sister to send me some of the finest beverages from there. So while we wait for the shipment, we have much to do." he explained.
"First thing I need to take care of, is all of you. I do not know which sexual diseases might be found here, or other illnesses, so we shall summon a Healer here to have each of you checked out for any potential illnesses. Once you have been given permission to work by the healer, you may begin work when we have our grand re-opening. You will be treated by the healer for -anything- he or she may find." This would hopefully show them he intended to care for them, probably like no one else has before now.
"Next, I require you all to go through delousing, whether or not you might have them. This building will be deloused too. Every linen, every pillow, anything fabric, must go. We will be replacing -everything- from rugs to curtains." he informed them. "I would like all of you to always be well groomed as well. My best friend, Najia, is going to help you all with shopping. Your to buy -whatever- you need or want. If you cannot carry it, we'll have it delivered."
He shifted just slightly and frowned just a little from the frowns he received. "I don't do this to be mean, but its to protect you and our customers. I want us to have the best clientele, and anyone whose filthy, will be bathed before being serviced. Whether they like it or not. I won't have venereal diseases running rampant in my 'Harem'." he stated, using the word for lack of a better term. They weren't wolves, far as he knew, but they were indeed his harem.
"Next, I make you an offer. You may refuse if you wish, it is your choice. If you have tattoos or markings you wished removed, it can be done. If you wish to accept my mark, it can be a private or public affair, here just amongst us. All this mark will mean is that you are my employee, and under my protection." Which would be useful in more ways he could currently think of.
He'd let them think on it for now.
"Lastly, everyone is to put up their hair, cover it, and find some old clothes to put on. We are going to clean this building, top to cellar, inside and out. Everyone's to be back here in ten minutes." With that, he dismissed them and started on a hunt for some cleaning supplies. If none could be found, he'd have to go get some. Luckily there was a closet full of cleaning stuff, so he started dragging it out and sorting through it.

{{After the tidal waves..}}
His dream, was shattered, drenched. Where he had lounged not long ago, everything was soaked and becoming ruined. Water damage...what a pain in the arse. His plans to clean up, renovate, and make the Siren a peaceful paradise were dashed and washed up by the twin waves which had not only put a dream on hold, but had taken far too many lives. What progress he and the others had made in cleaning the building, the ocean poured in and wiped everything out. -Everything- was ruined. This was either a curse or a disguised blessing. Either way...it was going to cost much coin to restore the building back to functionality and usefulness.
Coin he didn't have yet in abundance. He would need more than what he had in his strong box, which he had Tera save. She had managed to put the money in a waterproof pouch and tied it around her neck for safe keeping. Once the water receded, he'd figure out where to keep it. Coin wouldn't do them much good right now. He had to keep his girls alive, and the two young men with him. Huddled on the roof, he clung to Lily, who was crying and he simply held the girl against his muscular furry body til she calmed down. Looking around, he noticed others on roofs too, struggling to survive.
After he got everyone calmed, he spoke quietly. "We'll survive through this, but I need you all to keep level heads. Forget about business for now, focus on living, surviving." Standing, he slipped from the arms of Lily and peered down at his beloved dreamed, currently drowned. The Siren would be built bigger, better, grander. "This will be home still, when the water recedes, we'll rebuild." he assured them. "Right now, we have much to worry about."
"Tristan, go find supplies. Tyrelle, you go search for food and fresh water. Girls..we'll make you useful, somehow." He pondered on things they could do and decided something. "It will be very gross, but those of you who can swim well, help find supplies. Clothing, weapons, first aid stuff, whatever you can get up here." And off they went, despite the horrors of floating dead. Those who couldn't swim, he bade them to put up their hair as best they could and sit in what shade could be found.
While he worried about his 'Beauties' as he had begun calling the girls, he worried for Najia, hoping she was alright. As well as any other family that might be here.
He had been watching everyone around him, especially the few on the roof of the tavern. Maybe he and his beauties could aid them somehow. Everyone would need to depend on their neighbors now. The chestnut hued werewolf seemed to notice the arrival of the Outsiders about the time that others were. One of his girls, Lily, had cried out in surprise at the sight of the Dragons. Everyone was fearful and fascinated by them.
Moving to the edge of the Siren's roof, he crouched down and watched these strange Outsiders, these invaders. Did they bring trouble? Unsure, he remained watching.
---
Like so many other business-folks, he'd be demanding restitution as well. Otherwise he'd never be able to rebuild and then every horny bastard and dumb git in the town would start a riot and their wives would chain them to the couch for the next few moons! A city with no sexual relief...gods help them all!
Everyone was going to be crazy from lack of food, water, and sex! He'd be RICH in NO TIME once he re-opened! Instead of swimming in the muck of the deceased and dying, he'd swimming in a pile of gold and gems that would make any Dragon jealous!
