- You must register a new account for an OOC Account. When registering, just pick whatever character details you want, because they will not show on your member profile.
- After you have registered, login with the OOC Account and go into your User Control Panel, then click on Usergroups. Request to be added to this group and please be patient while I make the change.
- Once you are added to this group, go into your User Control Panel and click on Manage Linked Accounts.
- You will need to know the username and password for the account you wish to link. If you don't remember your password, you'll have to do a Forgot Password recovery for that account.
- When your accounts are linked, you will see a drop down on the sidebar that says Switch User. Using this will be the same as if you had logged in and out.
Also, please remember the following:
- If you try to switch accounts in the middle of posting and have a post open, you will lose any text you have entered. Please be sure you are posting on the correct account before you start posting. Or if you are writing a long post, always make sure to type it out and save it in something like notepad or Word.
- If you post something and realize you have selected the wrong account to post as, you can't edit the post author. Instead, you would have to delete the post and re-post under the correct account. Although the accounts are linked, normal user accounts do not have the permission to change post authors. This is an admin permission only. Sorry!
Once OOC Accounts are created, I will start moving OOC posts to that account. Please use your OOC Account for any OOC posting.
