I've been rocking out to Delain! I discovered them through Pandora and they're awesome. Need to go buy their CDs now. *nods*

Currently in my car (6cd changer) we have: Hairspray the Musical, Mamma Mia the musical, Paramore (angry chick rock), Casting Crowns (Christian), Sarah Brightmans album Symphony (rock opera), and Tarya Turunen (lead singer of Night Wish) in her album Winter Storm (European Opera Metal).

Yep, I am a little eclectic. :)

James, you can only use this excuse so many times. :P

Khory, I love that song "Oasis" off of Tarja's Winter Storm album. So pretty. Also, I noticed you wrote Tarya. Was that a typo or is it supposed to be like that? I alway see Tarja, so I was curious!

Nope, typo but not really. No one ever seems to pronounce her name right so I've taken to typing it phonetically. :) Not many people know her!

A friend of mine in Denmark sent me the cd. I love the video for Winter Storm. Plus she's got such great power to her voice. I can almost match it, but she's got a slightly higher range than I do. Only slightly. I can't quite manage the really high notes unless I drop volume. I started listening to her more when I realized I would never be able to mimic Brightman. :)

Other than kid tv songs? Eh, sorry to disappoint, but I'm old school kids. NIN, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Filter, Fuel, Korn, AIC...the list goes on and on. I, uh, did sneak in some Drake lately. :P Don't judge me!

No judging! I love Perfect Circle's album, Mer de Noms. Orestes and 3 Libras are wonderful songs. Verial has some lyrics from 3 Libras on his signature. ;)

In fact, listening to those songs now!

Ok I have very strange musical tastes, but if you like eclectic Rock 'n Roll/acid trips/eunuchs, toon in.

The Mars Volta (Acid trips)
Coheed and Cambria (Eunuch)
Avenged Sevenfold (Rock 'n Roll)

And if you combine all the above, you get

Final Fantasy IX - Nobuo Uematsu
Inception - Hans Zimmer
How to Train Your Dragon - John Powell
