What movies are you guys looking forward to in 2012 (before the world ends of course)?

The Dark Knight Rises - I wonder what Christopher Nolan is going to do after this.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - It's based on one of my favorite books. I'm going in with the expectation that it won't be as good as the book at all, but I'm still curious to see what they've done to it.

Prometheus - For Guy Pearce! I love that man. I just hope he has a recognizable part in it.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - Okay, Anna, I know you don't like hobbits or whatever, but I'm still excited to see it! I'm actually happy because Lee Pace is playing King Thranduil.

The Woman in Black - I love horror movies and can't wait to see Mr. Radcliffe in something other than Harry Potter. I hope this is a decent film, because it's so difficult to find good horror movies these days.

The Secret World of Arrietty - Studio Ghibli film that looks really cute. It reminds me of tiny people... like Wish!

The Raven - Okay this is probably going to be stupid, but I can't deny I'm mildly curious to see this movie.

The Avengers - What can I say? I'm a Robert Downey Jr. fan.

Brave - Because who the heck doesn't like Pixar films? And it's about a Scottish Princess or something like that.

Les Miserables - I am really looking forward to this considering some of the cast: Hugh Jackman (as Jean Valjean!) and Helena Bonham Carter. Not terribly excited about Taylor Swift possibly being cast as Eponine, but I'll give her a chance if so.

Oh sheesh...so many wonderful movies to choose from!

Dark Knight: A no brainer. Anyone who doesn't wish to see this movie should be smothered in honey and stuck in an ant hill.

The Avengers: Again...no brainer here. RDJr is so adorable!

Prometheus: Looks so badass awesome and the fact that chick from the original Girl With a Dragon Tattoo is in it just makes me want to see it more!

John Carter: Ok, the movie looks cheesy, but Taylor Kitsch is so yum! I mean c'mon people...this is Gambit we're talking about here!

World War Z: This movie better be up for an Oscar! The fact that Brad Pitt is in it doesn't hurt either.

Joyful Noise: Ok, yeah, not particularly my type of movie, but seeing The Queen spar with Ms. Boobs, err...Dolly Parton, just looks awesome.

Coriolanus: Shakespeare, Gerard Butler and Ralph Fiennes...nuff said.

Total Recall: A remake that I think I might need to see. Hope it does not totally suck.

Dredd: Another remake I might need to see. Hello, Karl Urban!

I think that's it. Might consider Les Miserables...I'll wait until Adria does first!

Oh..and a note about The Hobbit, no, not really my thing, but if you give it two thumbs up I'll consider the DVD :)

None of them. Well I'd like to see a couple, but working overnights means I'm gonna be limited in what i get to watch. *sigh*

See...Adria knows how to save a buck or two! A thrifty woman. I like that! And James...you WILL go with me to see Dark Knight Rises! So it has been said, so it shall be!

It's even cheaper if you watch 'em on the internet! Anyways...I plan to see pretty much all the above movies. I'm just mainly waiting for 'Spartacus: Vengeance to come out on the 27th this month. Then Borgia's, and then Game of Thrones. They're awesome tv series.

zmovie.tv, and film.fm

are good places to watch movies from for free. I never have money to venture to the theaters either, so I watch all movies here on the internet. Plus, I can have my own snacks and not pay a fortune for a movie and snacks.

Why pay for snacks when you can sneak them in? Though I usually go out to eat after seeing a movie in the theater, so there's no need to buy snacks.

If your coat is Bulky enough you could even sneak in a can of soda. Heck me and my neighbor snuck' in a couple of 1 liters once.

LOL!!! VJ is so right. My mom gifted me with that brilliant idea when I was but a wee lass! Women's purses can be a beautiful thing, but yeah, usually eat before or after movie time :)
