Post subject: Fave Web-series/youtubers

We've covered movies and television, but web series are getting to be incredibly popular. Also, I find that I can spend hours on youtube just going through random channels, etc. So I figured I'd share a few of my faves.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - Not new, but combines two of my greatest loves. The genius of Joss Whedon & musicals

Bard of Cornwall - Guy from Canada with a gorgeous baritone voice. He does mostly Scottish/Irish Folk songs.

The Guild - Again, not new but on the off chance you haven't seen it, its worth checking out.

Sassy Gay Friend - There is no way to explain it. You just have to watch. My favorites are the Shakespearean ones. Ophelia, Juliet, Desdemona)

I might add more later, but this will do for now!

LOVE Dr. Horrible's Sing Along! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I adore NPH! And I am a huge musical freak. I was a musical theater major in school and have been obsessed with it ever since.

And incidently, Aursra...I love Emmy Rossum! lol I thought she was an astounding Christine especially given how hard it must be to step into Ms. Brightman's shoes! :)

Beyond that i actually don't watch many web series. I don't get online much anymore at all, really. lol

I was a music education/theater major too, and I was practically spoon fed musicals growing up. We should start another list for that one :lol:

And yes, I <3 Emmy Rossum... obviously. Hehe.

Yeah, Dr. Horrible's is my top fav. Probably followed right after by The Guild.

I don't keep up on too many unless someone shows them to me. I don't have TV or cable (obviously), so if I feel like watching something I just watch TV online.

Dr Horrible and The Guild are my two favorites. I've also been known to watch Red vs Blue and Chad Vader; Day Shift Manager. Otherwise I don't watch a lot of web stuff. I spend more time on Netflix watching <coughanimecough> then anything here lately.
