In the land of Heruin, King Elias already has his sights set on someone for the new Padishah of Heruin. Though no names have been given thus far, there is a mysterious woman currently residing in the magister's manor in Drybrush. Furthermore, this new Padishah has been kept in the dark because rumor has it that the woman is a previous lover of Valorius'. After what happened with Ameerah Amunette and the Bel Telal's other secret concubine, one would hope that Bel Telal would come to terms that maybe his mixing business with pleasure isn't working out. One thing is for sure, Valorius Malku is never without his ass-ets.
More news in Heruin. There's talk of an escaped mental patient from Ironhold Prison. The woman, who may appear to look normal on the outside, has been seen sweeping across the desert of Heruin and starting her own religion. She proclaims to be a deity and is trying to recruit servants of which she already has a good collection. Those who have seen this woman say upon receiving her religious servants, gave them a good show of what she had to offer (yes, we're talking about breasts here) before they were swayed into her cult. So if you're looking for a new religion, head on over to Heruin. We did hear they have cookies and punch at their meetings...
Although Tremil Ach`Ka is looking for his son Mir, some have written in that the story is not as it seems. Some say that Mir is in fact not his son and that he is an escaped slave who's going to get whipped back and forth across Heruin once he gets caught. Although the priests of the Temple of Summer did not say much about the topic, rumors say that Mir did not enter the temple, but that he broke in in an attempt to steal some ancient artifacts in hope that he could sell them and make passage across the sea to Eiler.
Moving onto Arthuran, eye witnesses sighted a small entourage from Bariston (including Lady Victoire herself) was heading to Chaliceton. Considering the past between Layla Victoire and Verial Akilara, we all expect to see an explosion in the sky coming from Arthuran sometime soon. No one is quite sure why Layla is there, but some speculate that after hearing that Verial's secret love affair fled the coop, that Layla is trying to move back in for the kill. Unable to control herself, Layla is tired of lonely nights without the Lord of Arthuran and is looking to put an end to her womanly, carnal desires.
In other talks of romance, word has it that the Lord Commander of Eiler, Madrin Kir, and Aurora's Paladin, Wish Star have made their relationship more official. People say that they saw Wish leaving the Lord Commander's room one day with a smile on her face talking about weddings and how she was already pregnant with his child. The last we saw of the Paladin, she was headed away on a ship, presumably to look for a tropical location for their wedding venue.
Recently, Leiron Brona, former manager of The Red Crow Tavern in Bariston, has left his position and is no longer serving drinks and food for the population of Elved. The man was unable to comment on the why of his departure, but a few patrons that frequented the tavern say that Leiron and his wife, Mrs. Taria Brona, had been laundering money and that they were caught by members of the Bariston guard. Some also suggest that Taria's sister, Vadania, an entertainer at the tavern, had been working as a prostitute on the side and that Lieron and Taria both assumed the role of pimp.
Last but not least, it's been reported to us that a ship called the Jade Phoenix was seen leaving Grand City's Hinewai Harbor on a secret mission. Some are praying that the ship left in an effort to find a cure for the illness that has been running rampant across the land. Others say that it was a desperate slave ship headed to Lapis Cove - one that was so desperate that they may have even had a pregnant woman on board. Let's just set most of this little rumor aside and hope that the ship is actually on its way to find a cure for the plague.
