hi! so im new...obviously. I have to admit, im a little lost around this site, but I know ill get it! just wanted to say hi, oh and to introduce my....Dragon! I love that I can RP a dragon

Hi there Eámanë! (I'm going to have to copy and paste that name, heh.) Welcome to Aleris. One thing to note is that we like our new players to be able to jump right in and play without any heavy restrictions or applications. I guess you can say... we believe in common sense. We are in the realm of fantasy of course, but as long as your posts make sense, go ahead and write as you please.

The most important areas you may want to look over on the site are rules, game play and setting. Other than that, if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Myself or the other GMs or the other players are usually more than happy to help out.

And I must say, kind of cool having another dragon around!

I have to c/p the name as well until I remember how to spell it.

thanks for welcoming me! im super exited. I have been rping for like 5 years but its all been horses and such like that. I love love love dragons so im so happy I found you.

Welcome to the game Eámanë (I think I'll just call you Bob from now on..) Feel free to join in any storylines marked "ffa". The rules are pretty simple, like Memoria said it's all about common sense. Don't god-mode, don't force other players to do actions or take damage. Instead, perform an action and let the other players react. Aside from that, enjoy yourself!

Lately, the most active storyline is "Abyss of the Soul", where Madrin Kir and his demonic father are facing off in a battle of wills while everyone else just makes the whole thing messy. You could almost say it's a realm wide storyline, since every player in the game has gotten involved somehow lol

Sometimes it's hard to remember that specifically. However when it comes to killing off a character or npc I think the final blow should be done by the manipulator. If you overstep you'll hear about it believe me.
