Post subject: 09 - Common Senses - 03.04.13 - 03.24.13
Dystopia and I were talking the other day about how certain characters of ours smell. I know - we're weird! Anyway, this had me thinking for a new writing challenge. Often we forget to include the use of senses in our posts. How things smell, taste, look, etc... This challenge focuses on using all five of our basic senses. Create any scene you wish and delight your fellow RPers with imagery.

Basic rules:
- Your post must be at least 300 words long.
- You may respond to a current storyline or reply here with a post. If you are responding to a current storyline, please link us the thread. I would prefer that you do not create a new thread for this one post (unless that thread turns into a new storyline).
- Please use all five basic senses in your post: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.
- Any posts submitted after 03.24.2013 will not be accepted. That gives us two weeks for this challenge.

This is one of those questions I'm always thinking about, because I'm a bit of a woodsman IRL. Sense is as much of a thing around us as sight - they all work together, and we'd be lost without them. Well, maybe not so much what my characters taste like, though of course the answer would be candycorn and pumpkins.
