There were supposed to be lines that were not meant to be crossed. Love and hate with all it's diversity was but a line. Light and dark, another line that was traversed as if not there. Shades of grey was all that seemed to leave those points and spread everywhere. Even Demons and Angels it would seem as she looked to the man that sat beside her one night watching the lights over the empire.
The scarrd flesh of her back showed a little bit from the black dress she wore that evening since she wasn't on duty. The dark hair of her pinned atop her head in the simple banana clip and her flats were currently a few feet away from where she'd kicked them off. For the relaxed moments of leisure, her sword was a breath from her fingertips.
"Does regret ever come to mind for actions done when you're supposed to be well divine or an angel, Aiden?" The half angel sat beside her as they were having a picnic at her request to just get away and talk about things. It had been ages and since Val and Ameerah were back in town. It gave her a few moments here and there to be off duty.
For the moment she was also preparing for another side lined job. A job that would take her out of thigns for a little while. Facing those whom were bigger sometimes did leave a few scratches.
The sword pulsed and throbbed as if alive when her fingers caressed the blade. It made Aiden antsy, she knew that too but still it was a new toy to her so, she had to keep playing with it. A deal, a bargain made with a weapons creator in hell had gotten her the weapon in barter for something in her possession, she didn't have a second of regret either.
"What goes through an angel's mind." She'd never been one, why not pick one's brain.
