Rumor Has It….
That life in Aleris has become decidedly calm! Many would consider this a good thing but it certainly makes for a lack of gossip!
The Redmont contingent is still surprisingly quiet. I can only assume they have become wise to my snooping ways and are keeping their battles more private. Jass Strata still has not been seen in public as of late so she either took my advice and headed for the hills or has met her demise at the hands of the erstwhile lord Redmont. Hopefully it’s the former and she is simply off sipping margaritas somewhere with several cute cabana boys dancing attendance upon her.
Morlis Desiderio announced his official divorce from Karessa Lust. The lady in question has yet to make an appearance and it seemed her abandoned husband has grown tired of waiting for her. He seems to be consoling himself well, however, as he has added yet another woman to the bevy of beauties inhabiting his household. A siren, I’m told, to add to the stable of succubi already gracing his arm and his bed. Is she yet another concubine or simply a friend he has taken into his protection? A little bit of both perhaps? Rumor has it that there isn’t a woman alive safe from the lecherous Desiderio Lord and any female is fair game.
Speaking of fair game, rumor has it that another ex of our lusty incubus, the woman blamed for his divorce, Jezika Fehr, was not entirely happy with the Chronicles reports of her life with her husband or the blame that is reportedly being cast her way and decided to retreat to the woods to call out her ex husband and confront him. What the outcome was is not entirely sure, but the rumor from a group of hunters who saw the pair fighting reported seeing the Desiderio Patriarch drag Ms. Fehr into a secluded part of the woods, the woman in question fighting the whole way. When the hunters attempted to intervene they found the trees and brush impossible to penetrate. An hour later they reported seeing Mr. Desiderio leave the woods to be followed twenty minutes later by a battered and bruised Ms. Fehr. Rumor has it her clothing was in shreds and she seemed to have trouble walking without difficulty. No report was made to the Alerian authorities nor any action taken against Mr. Desiderio so it is entirely speculation of just what occurred in that private little thicket of theirs but…
